I was around for the entire Lennox, Tyson & Holyfield era. Lennox had to go to court several times to force fights. Both Bowe & Tyson vacated titles to avoid him. Lennox took years to get to the top & the McCall loss set him back a few years too but he speaks the truth when he says AJ needs to take control. That is speaking from experience.

He ran off twitter when i confronted him about his biased view months ago , so yes hes aware of what hes saying is in fact biased and doesn't want to look at both sides which again makes him look foolish to those knowing whats going on .

Lewis himself admits he is Wilders friend so whatever he says is going to have no actually solid value to them . lol

hearn sent a contract over, whats he meant to do if the other guy wont sign?

What I got from Lewis' statement was that Hearn should send over a contract that he knows is going to get signed. After the fall fight fell apart, negotiations started at ground zero. Hearn, smartly, send over a signed contract from AJ knowing that Wilder wasn't going to sign. Those things look good to fans, but they don't get fights made. I also got from Lewis that he feels Joshua, if he dares to be great and great NOW, he should be more concerned with getting the fight made than public perception or the size of his check. We've seen promoters make fights happen that we thought weren't going to happen due to money. In most of those cases, the "B" side ended up getting more than fans thought they "deserved" to ensure that the fight got made.
