Everyone act like this fight was not close, I dislike Kovalev like the majority but this fight was a challenge for both fighter ... I would put Alvarez the favorite in the second fight but not by the wide margin some predict here... I saw every Alvarez fight from is 10th victory approximatively and while he is way better than what he was 6-7 fight ago, more dangerous with his power and less hesitant and passive that he were, he’s still beatable If Kovalev keep boxing at distance and improve his defense..... easier said than done so its why I give Alvarez the nod for the second fight but not by the wide margin some predict here

He needs a tune-up and work on why he got stopped. Keeping that left hand up is the missing link here.

He takes the rematch and he gets sparked again --- it's over, finite.
Maybe, maybe not. He didn't do much wrong in that fight. He tried to throw a weak jab and got countered with a throw-away jab, right-cross to the side of the head.

Alvarez stops Kovalev by KO in Rematch

Kovalev is an old shot fighter who has aged quickly. The KO finished Kovie for good.

Ummm..not sure how a fighter can train his chin or body to be stronger. Alvarez will look to end it early this time. I can see if it ending like the 1st Ward fight but Sergey got dropped (3) times and badly hurt. I don’t want to really see this. It could be worse next time.

The fight will end faster. Just go to that pork belly and the guy will be ready to go within 5 rounds.

Kovalev is an okay fighter, but for his own safety, he should stay far away from Alvarez. There are levels to this game and Kovalev is one step below the level that Stevenson, Alvarez and Jack are playing at. If Kovalev is smart, he fights Bivol or Gvozdyk. Those two are closer to his own level and he might be able to win those fights.

I won’t be surprised that Donald Duck part 2 will happen with Baby Miller

We have seen what he can take and what he can't take by now, both to the head and the body, from fighters like Ward and Alvarez who are not even strong punchers. He would obviously get stopped by the guys I mentioned and it could very well be in dangerous fashion, like his last encounter with Alvarez. I think Kovalev should stick to guys like Bivol and Gvozdyk at the moment. At least those are not total mismatches.

Kovalev ate a huge right hand and got knocked down. When he got back up, his mistake was not going into defense mode and survive the remaining minute of the round. Instead he chose to keep on trading with Alvarez and ate more shots. That second knockdown was what finished it. Had he gone into survival mode, he could have recomposed himself from the first knockdown.
