Yeah what a ****** excuse! Conditioning is never considered a legit factor in professional boxing.

I'll bet JDJ is laughing his arse off right now. "The coach is the reason I lost to Ward." lmao

He needs to listen to his coaches....im starting to believe JDJ in that he doesn't like to stick to the gameplan and he thinks his power will overcome anyone.Which leads to his not training hard... He ia a good fighter but when problems came he didnt take the blame

The punches that hurt, are the ones you can't see coming, and Kovalev is not seeing them come! I say he should fight Joe Smith Jr., or Badou Jack, whichever brings the most money, and call it a day! Maybe he can talk DeGale into fighting him @ 175?
Badou Jack would murder Kovalev. I'd love to see it.

The only question is "is it worth it?" Is it worth more than a rematch with Alvarez?

Probably not at this point. Not sure of the behind the scene machinations and how the finances break down (never interested me much).

Doesn't make much sense now career wise either. Had he beat Alvarez he wouldn't have gone anywhere near Jack. It's just nice to dream...

I had Kova up pretty good when he got stopped but I don't like how he takes shots now, he breaks under the pressure. Alvarez isn't known as a big puncher and he punched Kov's senses out.

He didn’t get careless. Alvarez turned it up a notch and started going to the body. And as usual Kov complained and said keep your punches up and BOOM...overhand right.
