He can’t take it to the body and when he covers his body. He leaves his head open which is why he’s getting caught with wicked head shots now. It’s over. Things will only get worse. He has not mastered his craft.

It was not tough to watch. It was glorious to behold
because Kovalev has NEVER seemed like genuinely nice guy.
It's always nice to see a bully get bullied, especially Kovalev
who was not humbled by his first two consecutive defeats.
His new name is 'Son of Alvarez'.
lol where did kovalev hurt you? kovalev has beaten and krushed a hell of a lot more opponents than he's taken losses in his career. he's going right back after alvarez put some respect on his name punk!

If Kovalev wants to exercise his immediate rematch, then that is his right. He was winning the fight, though it was competitive and Alvarez proved to be durable and strong. Duva was mentioning a December date on HBO is a possibility, but doing it that soon after the stoppage is a terrible move for Kovalev. She needs to try to make the fight happen in like February or March. Kovalev doesn't need to be in the gym for at least three to four months. Or at least not sparring for three to four months. Seems like Duva is just trying to get one more solid payday for Kovalev before he calls it a career.

Kovalev has beaten a lot of mediocre opponents.
Kovalev didn't hurt me by being overrated,
but my assessment of him seems to hurt his fans.
Going right back after Alvarez will be as foolish as
going right back after Andre Ward was.
While I did have a lot of punk friends as a youth,
I was always more into ska and the bootboy culture.
