    alvarez did what ward couldn't

ward lost the first fight to kovalev and the second one ended in a lot of controversy! alvarez straight up knocked him out no pre mature stoppage or anything like that. ward never beat kovalev cleanly. alvarez should be in the discussion for top ten p4p. Thoughts?

haha, this site is still mad. ward has been retried. Don't know why everyone keeps making thread about him when Alvarez just knocked out their boy. Let's not deflect from the azz-shellacking that Kovalev just received.

I agree. The two fights he had with Andre Ward especially the first one really damaged him; Some might say even ruined him. After that fight he started having stamina issues and reflex issues. He is gassing a lot earlier in fights than usual. Also, his punches no longer have same snap or pop on them either. The Ward fights broke him both spiritually and physically.

alvarez was more impressive against kovalev than ward ever was. he showed how its done. give the man his credit.

He realized his tough guy Krusher persona is a lie. ****er had the nerve to wear a WAR hat like Hagler.
