This is the same guy that scored the Maurice Harris vs Larry Holmes fight for Holmes in a fight that it was hard to even give Holmes a clear round. He has his agenda. Had Kovalev made it out of the 7th round after, I wouldn't have been shocked had he only scored it only 10-8 for Alvarez. He doesn't even try to hide his biasness and Max seems like he's afraid to go against him. He'll say, "well I have the fight ____" but won't publicly challenge Ledderman's bs. Let's not forget that Ledderman gave Kovalev the 9th round in the first fight against Ward too. I still don't know how he managed to do that as well.
Agreed 100%. I remember watching that fight on the old USA Tuesday Night Fights, and Harris put on a clinic and easily outboxed and outfought Larry Holmes. Horrible robbery. I had forgotten that Lederman was one of the judges.

To me, this was a pretty easy fight to judge. I had it 3-3, 1st 3 rounds to Alvarez, next 3 to Kovalev.
I scored it just like you scored it. Lederman is notoriously bad at scoring.

You should be able to tell what Lederman's card will be before the fight starts by now.

Alvarez jab was controlling Kovalev all night. Lederman gives rounds only to the aggressor even if that fighter is getting picked off rushing in.

I thought Alvarez won the first 2 rounds. I gave Kov the third and he was beating the crap out of Alvaraz in the 4rth but he seemed to gas out by the end of that round. Alvarez slowly pulled himself back into the fight. Kovalev won most of the rounds after round 4 but he was looking really tired.

                Lederman is senile.

Roy and Max had it right... 4-2 Alvarez here ... So happy they didn't have to go to the crooked Duva judges...
