beterbiev would have took kovalevs head off....

he beat him in the amateurs and hed have took him out in the pros without the headguards. if youre getting wobbled by ward and stopped by alvarez youre getting knocked unconscious against beterbiev.

He would, Stevenson could've stopped him as well.

I think BB did knock him out in 1 of their 2 fights didn't he? Also Gvozdyk beat Bivol twice in the amateurs

too bad beterbiev turned down the fight. we could have got beterbiev vs ward instead and he could have earned millions of dollars oh well

Not exactly Beterbiev's doing, promoter Yvon Michel (if you can actually call him that) is to blame. Beterbiev did not sue the man for no reason.

With a pro format Beterbiev is likely 2-0 against Usyk also.

Didn't Beterbiev get put on his a55 by Jeff Page? I'd say that was far more concerning than a dodgy stoppage vs Ward and a world class Eleider.

well yes im sure he is horrible but if his promoters goal was to make beterbiev irrelevant he did a great job. if he had some amazing plan it obviously didnt work out

Beterbiev has terrible defense he'd be eating the 1-2 over and over with that style. Good chance Kovalev K.Os him but if Beterbiev can survive 5 rounds he'd have a very good shot.
Would he survive the early onslaught though and at what cost?

Shame we never got to see when Kovalev was at his peak.

Kovalev has always been a glass cannon. He's been knocked out by two non-punchers, imagine what an actual puncher would do to him.

I said multiple times even before Kovalev fought Ward, he's not durable and very fragile mentally. Good skills but mental midget.
