If a 10 yr old girl hits you flush on the chin you're going down and possibly not getting back up. Power matters when you're trying to beat a guy into quitting with partially blocked shots or to the body etc. It doesn't mean **** when you land flush.

Kovalev has always been chinny he was dropped hard by Boone, dropped by Caparello who can't punch at all, dropped by some other nobody whom I forget. Ward a non puncher buckled him badly.

That said Eleider is a deceptive puncher.

Again I'm a big fan but Kovalev just isn't very durable.

I put that big $1 on Alvarez. He's looked good, unbeaten. Kovalev was exposed by Ward and he's getting long in the tooth. Boxing guys should really think of putting $ on Povetkin at 10/1. The odds are way too high on a guy who packs a good punch.

As Much as we all hate the Pimp Stevenson, I think it's clear as day that had they fought that Stevenson would have knocked his head straight into his atmosphere with his speed and even more devastating power.
