Damn, your numbers are optimistic. 500k UK, 300k US. Doubt either will get over $10mil, lol, making it sound like $10mil is bad.
Why Wilder vs Fury Makes More Sense Than Any Other Fight

Well, fair enough.
Let's plug your numbers in.
500K UK buys gets you 6.5M net.
300K US buys gets you 9.5M net.
Let's also say the gate is only 10M.
That's still 26M to split, 13M each.
And that still doesn't count site fees, sponsorships, and foreigh TV rights.
Let's suppose they get half what Vegas was offering for AJ vs Wilder.
That's another 20M, another 10M each.
Again, the whole idea is to show that neither Wilder or Fury are losing money from a potential AJ fight by fighting each other.
And, I think I am making that argument very well.Comment

I don't personally believe that Joshua will fight Wilder under any circumstances. Money is and has never been the issue here but losing is.
He is confident deep down in his heart that he can't compete with or defeat Deontay Wilder. If he did then the fight would have been done by now.
He knows that Wilder is a much stronger puncher than he is. Moreover, his lack of defense complicates matters even more because he'll be facing an opponent who is naturally faster and more athletic than he is.
In addition, due to AJ's build, size, lack of movement and stamina, it would make him a very easy target for "the "Bronze Bomber" to find; Easier than Tyson Fury.Comment

How the hell long does it take that fat fuc Fury to lose weight and get into fighting shape? Fury is the one who wanted the fight so if he isn't ready that's TS. Wilder will probably knock him out and send him back into deep depression and drug and alcohol abuse and gaining two hundred pounds. So now its about money again ?
Neither guy is making close to 24 Million either .
It doesnt make sense bc everyone but the Wilderettes know Fury isht top form ( though he'll still probably win ) and its not a unification fight so Wilder losing not only ruins the better fight it stops Wilders crying about money itself bc he wont have to worry about arguing what he thinks hes worth .
The fight only makes sense for Fury bc even in a loss he has an excuse to fall back on and a domestic rivalry with Joshua , Wilder has Joshua thats it keeping him relevant .Comment

We'll see but Wilder isnt some godlike boxer many WISH him to be , the actual smart posters ( i know its limited ) on here knows Fury doesnt gave to be 100 % to defeat Wilder !How the hell long does it take that fat fuc Fury to lose weight and get into fighting shape? What a lot of folks are not understanding is that Wilder presents quite a few more problems to Fury, probably more than the other way around.
He is a mobile, athletic, brutal puncher.
One of Tysons best advantages is his ability to move in the ring and he will be facing a guy even more mobile than he is.
It also bears repeating that Fury's skill, as good as it is, is not in the same league as that of Ortiz, nor is Fury a southpaw (tho he can switch for short periods), nor does Fury hit as hard as Ortiz.
That is what Tyson is facing: a guy coming off a KO victory over an opponent who is measurably better in every way except for age and size.
And before you say size is enough, you might wanna check the relative tale of the tape here. Wilder is one of very few fighters that Fury DOES NOT enjoy a significant height and reach advantage against.
No folks the truth here is that Fury, for all his skill and ability, is facing an opponent where the chessgame Tyson likes to play in the ring is largely irrelevant. Tyson, for perhaps the first time in his life, is going to have to get into a dogfight from the opening bell, and that does not bode well for him.Comment

It will be 2 undefeated heavyweights in Las Vegas.Ok
No way does wilder or fury does a huge gate. Nobody gives a sht about either of them lol this is going to be embarrassing for you when the fight flops of it happens
Nobody in the uk will hardly buy it either as it will be on at a silly time and on a second rate network In bt
What you are also forgetting
All
Ppv buys, 55-60 percent goes out to the providers of the show
Wilder will not make more than 15m sterling vs fury, he may walk home with 6m. Delusion at its finest, the fight will not do more than 100k Ppv buys
They do a 20M gate easily, the way these guys talk more than that.
Last year, 874K people in the UK stayed up til 5am to watch a washed up 40 year old defense first fighter square off against an MMA guy making his pro debut. I think it is not out of the question to expect similar for these two.
Also, Vegas usually pays a site fee on top of everything else. Wilder vs AJ was rumored to be worth 40M to Vegas. I am guessing Wilder vs Fury gets at least half that.
So yeah, Tyson and Deontay make more than what Fast Eddie was offering for Dillian or even AJ.
A lot more.
That's why this fight is so dangerous to Matchroom.
It simultaneously elevates both the winner and loser past AJ's earning level.
How can AJ be an A-side when all his buys are in the UK while Wilder and Fury are international?
How can AJ be an A-side when his biggest fight grossed less than what this one will?
If you want to know why Tyson is rushing into this fight, there is part of your answer.
Win or lose, he becomes a financial player.
So does Wilder.Comment

Showtime PPV.
Which means Showtime ALL ACCESS.
Showtime, which is owned by CBS.
In the middle of the NFL football season.
And that's not even counting what these two fools are gonna pull on social media.
