You call that first thing a tune-up? Fury's twice Seferi's size. Wilder's fighting Fury because he's the lineal champion who's weakened by time away from the ring, mental illness and abuse to his body.

As for the Joshua fight, if both sides really wanted to make it happen next, it would. Joshua is content to wait and Wilder wants a retirement check. A win against Fury gives him a better chance at negotiating to get it.

Because he is doing what a champion is supposed to do. He is seeking out the beast fight. He is holding belts and still acting like he is a prospects who needs to pick and choose when it's time to fight a perceived threat.

You guys have seen Wladimir Klitschko's fights and his opponents. He looked better losing to Joshua than he did in beating some of those "contenders".

I am not Wilder`s fan, i am more hater, but it is what it is. Fury is a big name, unbeaten, outboxed Klitschko on his territory, beat Chisora twice by ease. You wanted Wilder to fight someone like Whyte, right? Well, Fury finished Chisora, who is something like Whyte.

I’ve stopped reading about fights that take a while to get made. I generally do that because it turns into a puddings match between biased fans who are more interested in such dramas than the actual fights but I did see Wilder rejected an offer that would have made the fight at a moment Joshua was pressured to fill a mandatory obligation.
