    He’s mixed race; Nigerian-Brit.
He’s no American though and therein lies the difference.

Agreed. And if there were as many white boxers in the US as there is latino and black, I can guarantee that there would have been a world champion from that lot by now. The NFL, MLB and even college sports teams have a ton of ridiculously good white athletes. They just don't box.

This was a fight that Wilder never wanted. It was always the Gay J fight he wanted, who is actually the bigger, stronger and more dangerous puncher than Tyson Fury; Until it was discovered that the dude had no nuts and or no guts to fight Deontay.

So subsequently, Fury after a three year lay off, felt the need to take it upon himself to fill in for that bum. In order to protect the honor and dignity of his country; After Gay J so badly disgraced it, by turning down $80 Mil to fight him.

“Gay J” as you put it, has not disgraced the UK, because to be frank, we’re more concerned about achieving things in our personal lives to be proud of instead of looking for vicarious glory.

My opinion? Wilder doesn’t want AJ, he wants a retirement payday and the money and conditions have to reflect the risk he’s taking because he has barely taken a risk so far (Ortiz excepted). $15m one off or 40-50% of the pot with a rematch clause if he loses? He expects to lose, I feel, so it absolutely has to be the latter.

Someone with a long term plan to stay in boxing would have signed the contract and got themselves in a position for bigger and better paydays by winning. Instead of leaving the contract with 2 points unclarified for a number of weeks.

I only go on his contradictions during negotiations. To say you’re interested only in legacy one day before passing up the chance to secure one by signing the contract tells me that he lacks confidence in his ability to earn as big again post AJ. Hence, doing everything in his power to acquire a big split.

Mature response. Intelligent too. You seem to have won that one... LOL.

We can have another debate once you’ve got past the difficult puberty stage if you’d like.

Do we debate on this forum or do we just sling insults? You think that facile remark shuts down the debate? You lack courage. Prick.
