To be fair, he didn't have the DAZN money.

But yeah, he could have offered the 8 million back then.

But, what Hearn STILL seems reticent to do is put AJ's name on anything resembling a decent contract.

Because if Whyte is 7 or 8 million, then AJ is 16-18 million plus a split.

To be honest lot of heavy weights are capable of hurting wilder. But wilder clearly likes to fight. I don’t think he is scared to fight anyone.

I agree. Obviously, it doesn't because if it did he would recognize boxers from the U.S.

I’m not convinced of that at all. Wilder seems more like a Ronda Rousey to me: great talker, great self-promoter, mowing down questionable opposition but ready to get out at the first major, major payday.

I only go on his contradictions during negotiations. To say you’re interested only in legacy one day before passing up the chance to secure one by signing the contract tells me that he lacks confidence in his ability to earn as big again post AJ. Hence, doing everything in his power to acquire a big split.

Reserve your judgement until the fight gets made. He didn’t seem to have the heart to rematch Wlad and Wilder also lacked the heart to face him first time out and that’s hit one example.
