Do British fans have low standards?

I've never seen someone call Dillian Whyte an elite fighter outside of the British fans. What's wrong with them?

A more interesting question would be: Why do American fans get soooo triggered when any non-American fighter does quite well?

British fans, Filipino fans, European fans, they've had the exact same war of words with all of them.

British fans be like "You gonna watch the Nigel Buckley vs. Lionel Honeybun fight? Will be an absolute cracker lad! Heard the vacant Yorkshire super bantamweight title is on the line!"

It's usually some southern area title and to be fair...some of those are pretty decent affairs. Boxing is quite subjective and quite often the best matchups are between evenly matched fighters regardless of their skillsets. I would rather sit through that than Fury vs Seferi.

Chris Eubanks Jr vs George Groves was PPV over there. The UK is a promoter's dream.
