Ortiz should just jump at the chance if the money offer is good enough and fuck him up. Ortiz hasn't reach stepping stone, journeyman or gatekeeper status yet. Unless this Joyce kid punches like a fucking mule, then he doesn't a chance against the more experienced, seasoned, scientific and fundamentally sound "King Kong" Luis Ortiz.

This is no damn game to Ortiz. He would hurt Joyce. I wouldn't want to ruin whatever future this kid has left in the sport by cashing him out against a bruiser/crusher like Luis Ortiz.

Young Joe will learn a lot with Abel at Big Bear and there is no way his management would consider a fight with Ortiz at Joe'
s learning stage right now. He is no where near ready for Ortiz.

To be fair, Joyce hadn't been boxing that long at the time. He was a very late starter in the game. Not that it'd have made much difference anyway but Joyce got much better after that, reaching an olympic final 3 years later.

He's actually very slow in the ring, which is surprising considering how athletic he is away from boxing.

Same as AJ, he's actually a pretty good sprinter and athletic, but very flat footed/heavy legged in the ring.

Maybe it comes down to not being natural boxers and just athletic guys that took the sport up quite late.

Ortiz is so cagey, so dam cagey and smart, it's just his conditioning isn't what it could be .
              Great matchup

It's not difficult to spot out a wilder fan over hyping Ortiz.
                It's like bread and butter.

Yeah I don't know much about it or haven't seen it I'm just going by what someone posted on here which is probably not a smart thing to do, thanks for clearing that up for me.

If it happened I could see it being similar to Fury v Parker with Hughie rapidly backpedaling throughout, landing powderpuff jabs but showing no real aggression. Joyce would get a decision.

There’s only one fight I want to see for Joyce at this point and that’s the Yoka rematch. I thought Joyce did enough in the Olympic final to win it - would love to see him avenge the loss.

Still maintain that Joyce needs to leave Haye to move at the pace needed.

Ortiz shows some balls if he takes this fight.
