The Fury that fought Wlad would be a nightmare for Wilder, and a far more difficult challenge than Joshua.

Thats the gamble. If Furys badly faded, Wilder can earn a hell of a scalp on his resume. If he isn't then Wilders in for the hardest night he will ever have in the ring.

I'm guessing decisions will be made depending on how Fury looks against Pianeta.

I'll be waiting for Wilder to pull the trigger and when he does he'll KO Fury for certain.

Of course... I felt exactly the same way waiting in vain for Wlad to pull the trigger. Must be harder than it looks

If he wins I will call him a magician. But he won’t so it will be the fat gypsie that formerly was the king of the division. However, stripped of his lineal duties

Considering Wlad almost took AJs head off and on the road in AJ's back yard. Fury is like a stealth attack, Wlad never launched his missiles.

Wilder will flatten him. Tyson Fury absolutely outboxed Klitschko yet probably hit him 6 times in the face the entire fight

Fury will test Wilder's patience and discipline. Most fans who haven't watched many Wilder fights will think of him as a guy who just comes in and wings wild hooks and straight right hands. I'm not saying the guy is a supreme technical boxer, but he throws nice combos and varies his punches enough in the clinch to both score and wear any man down. Stiverne I and Duhappas fights exemplify that. As Haye indicated, even a fit Fury is not guaranteed win over Wilder. His power and fitness is unmatched. He wins the war of attrition against Fury or Joshua.

I'll be shocked if this happens, but happy. Big gamble for Fury this early in his comeback. If he's back to where he was, or close, he can beat Wilder.

Wilder can be fairly easily outboxed as we've seen with Arthur Spiltzka and King Kong but his equaliser makes him dangerous as hell throughout.

Fury v Wilder is the interesting one. I've always said that Fury (at his best) is the one HW around today that i could see being able to nullify Wilder's right hand for a full fight and beating him...but at the same time, you can never count Wilder out. He has a knack for landing the big shot. It's interesting for sure.
Fury fights with his hands down too much which was ok against a relatively slow Wlad but will be his achilles heel against an athletic and fast Wilder - just needs one right hand to connect flush and Fury is done
