Anthony Joshua turned down 80 million dollars. LMAO!
I would castrate myself of for that much money.
Anthony is a dumb **** who can't understand that he is being used by his master.

"Sign the contract!" - The biggest lie-cry in boxing...Boxing needs incentives. Either winners get the bigger split or winners get a percentage bonus relative to their gauranteed split.
I am 100% sure this fight isn't happening right now because both sides want to maximize their right/influence/respect as a champion.
AJ, rightfully so, knows he's the draw, holds more belts and beat the bigger name Wlad. So his "I am the class of all life" wants to control everything.
Wilder, rightfully so, knows he's not just some #7 ranked challenger, but a champion himself who will bring draw and excitement to the fight as an undefeated knockout artist.
They are both credible in being two undefeated, powerful and charismatic champions. They both deserve money. But at some point, their handlers need to simply let the fight happen.
My honest opinion is that the issue is more so AJ/Hearn trying to throw of Wilder/Team by having as many terms/concessions in their favor (money, venue, ring-walk order, anthem order, location, ticket availability split for specific sub-groups of fans and family, glove brand, glove size, ring size, referees, judges, marketing exposure) etc. While Team Wilder is not willing to just give up everything. I am all team Wilder personally. I just like the guy as he seems down to earth and not pretentious.

Negotiating a fight through the media is only done as a tactic. It has nothing to do with making a fight. You want me to look at the 50 million dollar offer and not look at all of the bizarre behavior that accompanied it. You don't want me to see the blatant and tacky media and social media appeals that Wilder made while they were supposedly negotiating a fight. This is what Bob Arum does. When he does it he's a lying weasel. But when Deontay Wilder does it he's the people's champ? I see what he and all of his fans are selling but I am not buying it.

Let’s just assume It was wilder and he was from Ukraine and on 30% how much would Joshua take home?... 35 million. Ok therefore would you agree that Joshua vs Wilder is a bigger fight in the U.K. and the United States than AJ vs Klitschko. Baring in mind there was no PPV in the states for the Klitschko fight but surely you can appreciate there will be for Wilder vs Joshua. Then we get to the splits , Joshua will get the lion share as I’m sure you Wilder fans will concede so I ask you the question am I being unrealistic suggesting Joshua will make 50 million fighting Wilder in the U.K. ?
Eddie Hearn has gone on public record with thinking that the fight would only do $40m-$45m in the UK, so what are you even talking about?
If the biggest fight in the history of UK boxing saw the two fighters, together, splitting $42m, how do you figure that Joshua can get $50m, for himself, fighting at Wembley?

AJ can either give Wilder some kind of split or shut the hell up! That fight was for a guaranteed bout this year! If the man says he ain't doing it, go back to the negotiation table with something new or just don't even talk about Wilder anymore.
