    Lomachenko "3 divisions"

So, this big deal thing of Lomachenko moving up to his third division made me think... It all sounds very impressive when you say "3 divisions", but not if those 3 divisions actually should barely count as one division...

He moved from featherweight to super featherweight to lightweight. Meaning, he gradually moved from 126 pounds to 135 pounds. In other words, he now fights at 9 pounds heavier than he did at the start of his career... Is it really that big of a deal?

In UFC, you move up in weight for real. If you go up one division, you move up by 10 pounds. McGregor has moved up two divisions, 20 pounds, before...

This all makes boxers seem like divas or something. It shouldn't be that damn scary to put on a little weight. But it really isn't the boxers' fault. Yeah, I do get annoyed when I see a guy like Golovkin making 8 pounds sound like the equilavent of giving Ward the win. And yeah, I did get annoyed at Canelo for ducking Golovkin for so long (though Canelo at least manned up and did it as time passed). But again, not the boxer's fault. They have been pampered with all of these available belts and all of these weight divisions... In the future, there will probably be as many divisions as 160 lbs/162/164/166/168/170/172, etc., until boxers basically can move up and down as precisely as they want...

I hate to agree with you on anything because you are such an obnoxious jerk. The weight classes in the lower weights are much to close together and Loma going up 9 pounds was not much of a jump. Still Loma is number 1 on most PFP lists not because of being a 3 weight champion but because of the good fighters he beat and the way he beat them. You are totally full of it on the Ward-GGG situation as are most GGG haters. Ward never made GGG a written offer to fight. He just made a publicity media challenge at a time when GGG was in training for a contracted fight with Lemieux and could not legally fight Ward. When GGG was through with Lemieux and free to fight Ward, Ward had fought at 172 pounds and said he could no longer fight at 168 pounds. Check the record dummy. If you like the UFC so much better than boxing why don't you go to their boards and stay off of this one. You statement that we will have weight classes every 2 pounds from middleweight to light heavyweight is a typical ****** statement from you because you are a ****** jackass and that is the only way you know how to be.

He was always a lightweight. He fought at 132 in the amateurs. Still the kid has talent.
