If Fury wins, all it would mean is him taking Wilder's number 2 spot. So he can't possibly be the number 1 without beating Joshua.

And if (When) Wilder beats Fury, it will mean less than nothing with the shape Fury is in.

So no, the number 1 will still be Joshua until he's removed from that position.

How is Joshua number 1? By jumping out of the WBC ratings, avoiding Wilder when Wilder was the only existing champion and picking up the belts stripped from Fury? Fury is still active so he's still the lineal champion, but when he left, Wilder became number 1 and Wilder has never been beaten from that top spot. Joshua STILL isn't ready to fight Wilder: Joshua could have easily requested a WBA exemption and either accepted the $50 million or offered a fair split to fight for the number 1 spot.

A fight with Wilder is a great motivator for Fury, so after the Pianeta fight, I suspect the deal will be to either fight Wilder next (if Fury believes he can beat Wilder), or share a card in December and then have an April 2019 unification.

I think you are wrong about Wilder only making his normal $2.0 million for this fight. If the fight is in the UK it will do well and the added Showtime revenue will sweeten the pot. I think maybe $7.0 million for Wilder and $3.0 Million for Fury. I honestly think UK fans will pay to see this fight.

Then you have fighters like Saunders, Golovkin, Joshua, Bellew, Whyte, Lomachenko, Parker, Povetkin, Pulev, Fury, Wladimir, Brook, Degale who have many more wins between them and have beaten better fighters than the Americans have, yet they're discredited and smeared all the time. So don't give me this **** about you don't rip off overseas fighters who have done more but give all the hype and praise to lesser fighters because they're American, because you do.

But there was no signed contract to have a unification was there? So after the WBA had already given Hearn extra time, they forced the mandatory like they should. You can't go round not giving mandatories the fights they have earned. That wouldn't be right.
