    • Fury is dumb to do this so soon. Wilder fans will be unbearable after he knocks out fat Fury. Both fighters should be looking to wait until Fury is in shape and it means something. Even Joshua has said Fury needs to lose weight before they fight. I wish Wilder had the same competitive spirit but that's been the M.O of Al Haymon fighters and American fighters in the Floyd generation in general, looking for opportunities to get credit for name wins without having to fight the actual tough fights that come with that name. In other words, fighting names based on what those names did in the past, but not when those names are actually still dangerous.

As a champion an a fighter who increases the value of the fight far above what any of Joshua's previous fights, Wilder should get between 30-40% of the overall revenue and a rematch clause. Not sure where you get that never in history crap. Boxing has a long history of two way rematch clauses. Ward Kovalev had one and Ward wasn't bringing belts to the table. In a rematch, if in the US, its 50-50 or 55-45 Wilder as the undisputed champ.

Now what you will do is fashion an argument against my opinion while not stating an opinion that can be stated and defended in boxing terms. You will say biggest purse ever or no one knows Wilder. Knowing the former doesn't matter and the latter isn't true and especially won't be true come fight night.

Thanks to the circumstances (Hearn) the fight everybody wanted to see couldn't get made, and if Fury shows up in reasonable shape then this will be the next best thing. AJ gobblers are just mad that Wilder's looking to jump in front of Joshua in line to fight Fury and has upset Hearn's grand plan of having every meaningful heavyweight fight under his banner. If the fight is going to be another three or four months away then he'll have plenty of time to shift whatever excess weight he has to. FWIW, I don't think this fight is a great matchup for Wilder, if Fury's fit I can see his awkward movement and long reach, as well as him being the one guy in the division who'd have a major height and reach advantage over him, leading to a lot of frustration for him, although that can all be turned around in a moment if he lands a huge punch. At the end of the day I just want to see the best fights. The best fight that could have been made got deliberately sabotaged, so I'll take this as the next best thing, and I don't care if Joshua fanboys are butthurt about it.

Trust me that fight isn't happen this year, Team Fury are not amateurs, they know fury isn't ready physically yet. He might be ready mentally but if Joshua or Wilder fights him now then they are getting the worse Tyson fury.

It would be in Wilder and Joshua's best interest to fight Fury now, this is why Tony Bellew wants to fight Fury now before he gets his fitness together...You got to pick the cherry whilst its ripe and Fury is ripe for that pickings.
