Now this is a good chess move by the Wilder side, a much better fight for Wilder in my opinion than Whyte. Now Fury in shape, can box. If Wilder gets him out of there, a really stronge win on his resume.

Complete fantasy, there are no negotiations. Fury isn't up to speed for a hard fight, Warren doesn't have the money and it doesn't sell enough in the UK on BT without a proper build so Wilder wouldn't take smaller money than the Joshua fight. You can't sell that fight on PPV in the US without a build either.
The only real offer is $8 million for Whyte.

Folks forget that the 50M offered to AJ was confirmed.
Stop thinking they don't have the money to put this fight on.
I would love them to try Showtime PPV in late December.
Hopefully, Wilder can do a September fight, maybe his mandatory vs Breazeale.
Then he and Fury meet in December or early January

or maybe the money is coming from Wilder's end. They seemingly had big money to offer AJ who didn't take it. The next biggest fight in the division for Wilder is to fight Fury.
I'm sceptical that it actually happens and that there is even negotiations, but who knows. I think the money would be there to make it.Last edited by TheBigLug; 07-30-2018, 10:29 AM.
