I like Deontay Wilder by knockout. I admit that he may not be the most fundamentally sound or skilled fighter in the world but he more than makes up for it with pure grit, will power, determination and persistence. He has the bigger heart and is the mentally tougher of the two.

There are just too many questions about Joshua's state of mind concerning this fight like: His will, self confidence, hunger and desire. The real reason why I can't pick AJ is because I don't like his body language.

He has avoided and ducked Wilder for several months now which is not a good sign going into a championship fight. Remember if one can't conceive it, they can't believe it and then they won't achieve it.

Joshua stops Wilder within 6. He's the more well-rounded of the two and has unified twice previously, an experience Wilder doesn't have (despite being a titlist longer). Joshua's uppercut will be key.

Joshua is the more technical of the two but when you have a guy that's coming at you swinging the way Wilder swings it might just startle Joshua and cause him to fight a different fight. If it does I could see this ending in knockout in favor of Deontayyy.... "The Bronze Bomberrrr".. Wiiiilderrrrr!!! AJ doesn't want that smoke.
I actually think it will be the other way around.

Joshua will start aggressively from the opening round because he knows the longer the fight goes, the biggest chance of Wilder landing a hail Mary will get.

Wilder won't be prepared for that. He'll expect Joshua to start like he usually does, but as soon as AJ starts charging at him and lands his first combo, it will be the beginning of the end.

Wilder thrives on chaos, but only when he's the one creating it. His lack of experience and skills will show in this fight.

Joshua has such an awful chin I can't imagine him not getting KTFO in this fight.

Both limited fighters. Joshua is robotic and doesn't move his head, so Wilder's straight right hand will be a danger. Wilder isn't a good boxer, has a tendency to throw looping punches which can leave him out of position, while AJ is a very straight puncher which will give him opportunities to connect.

It's a fight that can go either way. I'd probably favour AJ early or Wilder late. The way I most see it playing out is similar to the Lennox Lewis/Michael Grant fight. Wilder's power is always dangerous so I think AJ may jump on him early and finish him within 3. Wilder hasn't shown great counter punching ability, so I think he'll be vulnerable if AJ comes out aggressively.

Wilder by KO. AJ will gas and get caught.
