Yeah it was a big story in the lead up to Wilder/Ortiz since both of their daughters have diseases, and the two bonded over that.

Yeah i really had no idea, i have heard about Wilder daughter many times, and especially when he was fuming with charlie Zenelof for what he said about his little girl, but i had no idea about Ortiz too.

You do know Ortiz turned down the July date with Whyte and wanted it at a later date don't you?

Takam was a mandatory, so it couldn't have been then. Moliona was short notice when Wlad got injured, so it couldn't have been then. Joshua was making the first defence against Brezeale and wasn't going to fight the top fighters just yet as he needed some experience. The rest i'm not even going to respond to because it's beyond ridiculous. Maybe Joshua should have fought Ortiz in his debut or something? Haha.

This guy needs to retire or he needs to fight someone in the top 10 before getting anywhere near a title.
Stop the BS. Nobody with a pulse wants to fight the old man. Not aj or whyte.

I'm talking about a shot at a title. Ortiz has had his shot, now it's Whyte's turn. He's earned it with his win over Parker. Saying otherwise is just plain nonsense.
