It would also wipe out the memory of Whyte holding on for dear life in the 12th against Parker.
Dont generalize, I would welcome Ortiz vs Whyte on the undercard of Joshua vs Wilder

          What?????

You lot have been screaming for the Wilder fight for that date. Claiming Joshua is ducking. But now you want Ortiz to have the date instead?

You people are all over the place. You can't even get your story straight.

Wilder should accept the date, get knocked out, then we can all move on. Or do you want Wilder to keep on running and shouting his mouth off on social media like a woman?

The fact you are arguing about who is more known between Ortiz and Whyte in the UK shows how far gone you are. Of course the Whyte fight sells more. And on top of that, Whyte is more proven as well.

If Ortiz wants a big fight, he should do something more than fight bums and crying. Earn it. He's not entitled to anything. His only good fight he had he got knocked out. That doesn't earn you a shot at another title.

And Ortiz certainly hasn't improved his standing by beating that big stiff bum last night.
Are you Eddie Hearn's sock puppet or something. Good Lord you're putting in a lotta work to deflect a 50yr old Cuban. I get it! AJ is Batman and Dillian Shyte is Robin and they can beat the Avengers with one hand tied behind there backs

It was just ...another case of a guy being overly demonstrative about his toughness, only to get knocked out !

This guy is giving Ortiz the "so what" body language after taking punches...suddenly Ortiz catches him with a 1-2. The first punch he throws out to get him off balance, then BAM!

The guy, that was acting like Ortiz couldn't hurt him, was stumbling around, like he got hit with a bat !

Maybe it's a matter of principle? If I'd jumped through all those hoops for the WBC and paid them all that money I'd be tempted to tell em where to stick this additional fight against the guy who has just lost his title shot for 'second mandatory' status against a champion who is averaging one mandatory every 3 years?

Whereas if he goes down the WBA, WBO or IBF route they're proven pathways to a title shot.

                  • Now all Eddie Hearn has to do is offer that $8mil offer to Luis Ortiz to fight Dillian Whyte in NYC. After all, Ortiz could use the money and needs some credible opponents on his resume. This way they can make it a title elimination bout for Wilder's WBC title belt which Whyte avoided the last time.

Stiverne had him stifflegged too, and I remember another opponent that had Wilder on bambi legs not so long ago. He doesn't have a bad chin but it's nowhere near "legendary"
