Ortiz couldn't fight tonight because he wasn't ready. So they called Parker up instead. Parker is a better fighter anyway. Far more Proven than Ortiz who only has Jennings on his resume. Embarrassing.

          Chisora

I’ll say what others may be thinking: Joseph Parker is magnanimous in defeat -which is wonderful if you’re Roger Federer - but almost to the degree that he doesn’t look perturbed by losing. Is that a good thing? In some ways yes but it also makes me question whether or not he has a true winner’s mentality.

Put it this way, Had Dillian Whyte lost in those last 30 secs, he’d be screaming for a rematch and it would be eating away at him internally to the extent that he would be fired up beyond belief for round 2. He appears to live and breathe it and his intensity and focus are somewhat disturbing. By way of contrast, I dare say that Parker will take this defeat in a more laid back fashion but I wonder if, at this level, that 1% difference is a psychological marginal advantage that Whyte has over Parker when it comes to staying in and around the contenders? In summary, he seems to want it more.

Ortiz wasn't ready for tonight you fool. He couldn't fight until later in the year. Why would Whyte wait for that idiot when he can fight a higher ranked fighter who is better and more proven?

Don't be angry Whyte won. Hahahahahaha.

Credit Whyte for getting the win. He has a lot of heart. But that's where it stops. If the UK fans want to see AJ Whyte again, so be it. If UK fans don't want to see Wilder Joshua just say it. Don't mask it behind Whyte or leverage or anything else.

Let's see if we can get Whyte in there with Miller or one of the upcoming British prospects.
I’m sorry but that’s enough nonsense. He has fought enough prospects and Miller is a sideways step. I don’t rate him but Whyte has more than earned his shot at one the main prizes now.

                  A few points
-heavyweight boxing belongs to the british and in britain
-we will see wilder duck his mandatory the bodysnatcher(who has a great chance to not only beat wilder but stop him)
                  - both whyte and joseph parker are 2 warriors who showed they belong at the highest level of boxing today
                  - both showed they have enough to beat fraud wilder
-that was one of the best cards in a very long time 2 upset cities and a boxing match worth the ppv price alone....and wilder wants 50% HAHAHAHAHA
Maybe you're right. Let them come to America and find out. Those incompetent refs over there .... conveniently incompetent, as Parker finds out ... they would ruin the fight and cause too much controversy.

But what makes boxing great is, you never know who might beat who. Upsets happen, but so do beatdowns. Wilder may lose one day, but he'll be trying to knock someone's head off the whole time.

The UK/Hometown cheerleading is ... juvenile

I thought Dillian would get smoked tonight and as always I put my money where my mouth is so I backed Parker. My patriotism went out of the window tonight and I was a kiwi supporter. Having said that I’m happy I lost my money because a Brit one at the end of the day. God save our Queen .... get the strap🔫

These are good fighters. Not like the garbage Wilder has faced in 40 fights.

Who is the fraud fighting next? Hahahahahaha.
