The only thing that should be questioned on this forum are all of these people who love to cut down and disgrace fighters, managers, trainers and anybody else involved in the game. What the **** do they know about it. They watch television and believe every word that comes from the commentators mouths as the written in stone truth. No ********s will know ****, simple as that. They will know what is reported but will rarely have the oppertunity to validate their thoughts with real life experience. Yes this is cyber space. You suck, most of these opinions suck and **** you too.

To say that Emmanuel Stewart is over rated is really showing your lack of knowledge of history and the sport. The man raised champions from scratch in a little basement room in Detroit. Sure he is inheriting fighters now and making some great money. But that is only because in the past he paid his dues, showed his worth and value as a trainer and brought up only one of the best professional boxing teams that I have ever seen. Emmanuel Stewart is not over rated, the only thing over rated in this thread is the thread creators opinion. Have some respect man.

So what, he had a guy like Tommy Hearns. Birmingham has Winky, but that doesnt make him the best ever. Floyd Sr. had little Floyd but that doesnt make him a All Time great. A million trainers had Oscar. Are they all the best? Papa Trinidad had Tito. Is he the best?

Also, what have you done for me latley? There are a bunch of legends in every sport but they cant get the job done now.

Steward does alot of piggy backing on guys who are already champions. He'll probally train Taylor now for the rest of his career and Taylor may go on to be great and Manny will get alot of the credit for having a World Champion again but no one will remember that Taylor was already a Champ and he got better but it was only has natural progression as we saw in the Winky fight. Steward is overrated plain and simple

i was gonna say the same thing...I dont know about Steward, but Mcgirt is one overrated mutha. My favorite trainers are Spink's trainer Cunningham, and Judahs trainer Joel. Both of them are screaming half the time, and they scare the **** out of their fighters. LOL
