No that’s incorrect. The terms were that is Wilder loses no rematch so there goes the 15 mil. If AJ loses the rematch Hearn wants a 50/50 split. In addition Hearn wants all US and U.K. PPV revenue. Why else flat 15mil? The deal is beyond ridiculous

Talk about absolute ridiculous terms. Hearn wants control of everything and Wilder camp wasn’t going to provide it

I'm curious to see how long the comments on this thread remain sensible!
I’m sorry bro I plan on igniting them. It’s boring when everyone gets on and it’s civil.

The writer was impartial and stated the obvious but just count after I am done here you will get no fewer than 40 Americans fresh out of the bat cave talking about the 50 million. Kudos to them in advance but the urge to use that angle is just to strong to turn down

If he loses there was not rematch clause so bye bye for that potential windfall. On the other side was if AJ loses it was guaranteed rematch and Hearn demanded a 50/50 split. In addition Hearn wants all US and U.K. PPV revenue. Now tell me the 15$ mil was a great deal. The deal is beyond ridiculous

theres plenty of ambition man...enough that he would have taken the deal if the fight were to take place this year

but the guy don't like to jerked around and played with in the media....hearn jerked them around and pretended to want it so he could save face...he insulted finkel...he insulted wilder and his team and it was apparent he was never serious about making the fight for this year like he was trying to portray......as a man wilder doesn't like to be treated like that when he knows hes ready and wants the fight ASAP

hearn can talk about how wilder wont see a penny more.....but the reality is the boxing world/media will be putting the pressure on him to make the fight sooner rather than later.....just as they did with canelo to fight golovkin....and as you can see, even though golovkin doesn't sell much on his own, golovkin made out A-ok financially....

He can always come back and ask for a % split, that's what I would do if I was Wilder's team. If Hearn says it's around 30-35% at 15 million... then why not offer 33% and make it public?

I didnt read the article mainly because Im tired of this shit. The bottom line is Wilder should have taken the 15 million dollar offer. It was offered for the next fight as I follow the timeline and Im sure Ill have mfers from both sides arguing either side. I dont care really but the fact is Joshua has 3-4 belts..has the better resume and the better following. Wilder has stated unequivocally that he will knock Joshua out so why not take the short money the first fight and clean up from then on. I mean thats what the mfer that alot of people here worship did when he fought ODLH and went on to be the highest paid boxer in history. The facts are the facts, Wilder needs Joshua, Joshua doesnt need Wilder. What did Joshua pull down last year? Ive heard upwards of $50 mill. He can literally fight anyone and sell 80k arenas out 3 times a year. He is calling the shots and he wont be giving that position up, he would be dumb to do so.

Wilder will take his $15 million and like it just like Floyd took what ODLH gave him. Time will tell if he can capitalize on it.

It's called pricing yourself out of the fight and no Wilder should not accept any old deal just because. Don't talk to me about where is Wilder's ambition when Joshua cannot get up for 50 million. So yeah let us have a stalemate over it and piss off the fans because big baby Joshua calls all the shots. Good for him.

I do to an extent agree share your sentiments that team Joshua were apprehensive in some of the negotiations. They saw Wilder as a huge threat which they should and felt they should reward themselves more than their rival. Why else would he be offered a flat fee, even Parker who himself hasn’t made much per fight was offered a percentage. But that’s on Eddie Hearn nothing to do with Joshua. I do not doubt that Wilder was game but do you mean to tell me his team were as equally as keen as him to sign the fight.? They had the contract for a month pondering on it then when they do agree they inform the media then say there are 2 points but they will inform team Joshua on them in 6 days. I support Joshua but I’m not hypnotised and so biased that I don’t comment on his sucka ****. I’m not related to any of these fighters so I say it as I see it. However you Americans see no wrong in team Wilder which is just weird.Wilder himself just looking at it logically why would he be game. Though his team are business men why would they be so keen to sign a low ball deal. This situation suits them perfectly. They used the media to perfection why can’t you see that. If they both wanted the fight it would be done. Whether you believe Joshua wanted it or not Wilder had the contract so sign it. I’m not even at the negotiating table yet I knew the fight would be in Cardiff in late October/ Nov. Please don’t be fickle and say they didn’t know the venue because you knew why wouldn’t they know.

You are a clever dude( sometimes) with a smart mouth it doesn’t suit you when you come across ignorant. You are better than that

As for GGG he has ( well did) all the belts baring 1 it is actually an embarrassment that he is not the A side to begin with but such is life. Maybe Wilder has looked at that scenario hence he is asking for 50/50. A closed mouth doesn’t get fed
