He would of had to fight every second of every round.

Let me ask you something...What's your opinion on Duran? How was his defence? His offence? His shot selection?

Guys, look at Tito or other fighters getting shutout. Some fighters are just bad for others. Cintron was killed by Margarito so you could see he is a fluke but Im telling you that Julio couldnt figure out this guys Southpaw style and it frustrated him. I think he does better against a guy like Hatton then alot of you think

Why are you asking me that? Are you comparing Hatton to Duran?

LIke I said, Hatton does so many things in the ring that go unnoticed. He's really underlooked (not underated) in the skill department.

No, I'm not. It's not a trick question. I honestly want to know your honest opinion on Duran.

i just think julio is incredibly over rated. i have seen him a few times and he has had a hard time with some atrocious competition.

It's true. But a prime Duran was an awesome 'boxer'. Dude could slip punches like no other. His defence was better then Floyd's because he gave it like twice as good as he got. He's the best inside fighter I've seen at slipping punches.

Duran is one of the best all around boxers of all Time and I dont see him and Hatton being compared at all. Hatton doesnt have Duran's power, boxing ability, and the defense isnt even close.

Im not a Hatton hater, I love Hatton and take up for him alot. Im one of the few guys on here who says that I think Hatton probally couldve beat Tszyu and any time in Tszyu's career but I also think Hatton is Floyd and is vulnerable.

I still dont like the way he comes in chin 1st and he holds a whole lot now. I think he mightve lost against Callazo if he didnt hold those last 2 or 3 rounds. I just want to see him face a prime boxer who can counter like Floyd, Cotto, Margarito or whoever. I think alot of those guys will stop him

IMO Hatton would have a problem with Quintana also... Quintana style is similar to Collazo. Quintana got a good chin. He was taking some nice shots from Julio the devastating puncher. The KD woke Quintana up.

If Hatton were to fight Quintana i would put money on Quintana just because i know he could pull the upset.
