I had never seen him fight either, but Quintana look so good, he seems to have it all. I'm still not sure if Julio was bad, or its just that Quintana is that good.

I think it was because Quintana took him out his game. Julio used his jab and fought beautifully in other fights but Quintana wouldnt let him do nothing and frustrated him and took him out his game. Just a terrible style match up for Julio if you ask me. I think he could hand with Margarito and Hatton. They will both be in front of him, neither can box that well and neither are fast. But Quintana was just a very skilled powerfull slick southpaw.

Quintana took his heart too, when he was able to take his best shots and keep coming. Julio has potential, but at the moment if somone can take the occasional bomb from him, he's in trouble. He's got to learn how to break people down...

thats the thing, usually in fights he is patient and breaks people down, Quintana just wouldnt allow it he fought a perfect fight.

ill give him the benefit of the doubt..it was over 100 degrees in las vegas tonight..so maybe he was tired quickly..which is understandable..but he still threw 1 punch at a time and was flat footed..reminds me of the 1 dimensional trinidad

People just are not realizing how good of a fight Quintana fought, Julio will be back. Time will tell.

Both fighters fought outside. So they would both be effected by the heat. They should have not fought outside then. Thing was that Quintana was in great shape.

Actually, with his style, I kept waiting for Quintana to tire, but he didn't. Quintana also landed a ton of body shots, so that may account for Julio gassing faster than he did.

Hatton would eat Julio alive. Julio needs to fight a few more mid-level fights against a few different styles before he steps up again.

Cotto and Margarito would eat him up too at this point.
