umm Hopkins was not in his prime in 1993. sorry. now when Bhop was calling for the rematch around 2002-2003 at that point they were both really in their primes. but Roy didn't want none.

and James Toney had to shed like 18-20 lbs with four days before the Jones weigh in. he was so drained he was hooked to an IV.

    these two wins are overrated.

the best win Roy had in the 90's was Montell Griffin.

Seriously. I really hate the persistent push to do so just because of Hopkins's longevity. Even with all that longevity, he didn't beat better fighters or accomplish as much as Roy. Roy's clearly the greater fighter.

People severely overvalue Hopkins's career to put him ahead of either Jones or Pacquiao. Those two beat much better fighters than him and accomplished more. Hopkins's longevity doesn't matter if it doesn't result in greater accomplishments or wins over better fighters. You can't just say "longevity" and think that means anything.

            Hopkins.

Simply because he's never been linked to PED use.

                As far as names yeah

You can look at it a couple of ways but beating 2 prime atgs seals it for me. Toney was undefeated, and Hopkins 1 loss

RJJ is probably top 15 all time and that's because he had a prime where he was maybe the most talented to ever lace em up.

Pacquaio is top 35 all time, champ in 8 divisions, fought some legends and beat some of the best.

Hopkins is top 40 All time, had a long career, just didn't dominate opponents as much as some other greats.

Roy didn't want none yet Hopkins turned down the offer.

Do you have a source for Toney needing to shed 20 lbs in 4 days and that he was hooked up to an IV?

And how was his weight for Jones any different to any of his other weight cuts?
