    Just rewatched Tyson-Holyfield 1

Am I the only one seeing this as Christian vs. ******,

Holyfield has opened 25 to 1 underdog and settled 6 to 1.

Is holyfield the kryptonite of tyson?
Tell me your views on this fight.

I was expecting Tyson will decapitate and eat the real deal alive, I was wrong and lost alot from this fight.

Holyfield fought a pretty much perfect fight. He was tough enough to take Tyson's best shots and smart enough to clinch every time Mike tried to get on the inside.

I think Holyfield just has Tyson # it was a combo of hom mot being afraid of Mike plus his ring iq he knew how to tie Mike up and fustrate him he also had the strength to bully mike around everytime he tried to get inside.

Holyfield got rocked by the1st solid upper cut that landed , the younger Tyson would have even defeated this huge ENHANCED version of Holyfield bc he moved his heafd and threw in fast combos .

Both were great counter punchers but Holyfield has literally been training for Tyson since the 80's , thats the reason why he went into the HW division .

Rewind to Bert Cooper a pressure fighter who replaced Tyson in the early 90's who almost had Holyfield on the ropes ,and you get what the far better Tyson may have done .

I think Tyson got hit with a lot of awkward stuff the ref didnt call as well in both fights . I remember years ago watching a video and someone had showed Holyfield in slow mo hitting Tyson on his upper thigh with a knee strike . lol

People claiming Holyfield had Tysons number no matter what are ignoring a lot of facts , the major one Tyson losing to anyone around 210 that comes forward is slim to none . Holyfield was susceptible to uppercuts and that was Tysons best punch that he set up ruthlessly back in the day . Holyfield himself said prime Tyson would have been an entirely different fight etc .

Holy is a tough MF'er with unbreakable will & Tyson was a ticking time bomb that can explode @ any moment. Evander took Mike's assault and roughed up the bully.

Love Mike, Evander was that guy tho.

This was one of those fights that I wish I had bet on, never was a gambler tho.

But I was always the cat that pulled for the underdog, especially when it came to Iron Mike. Not due to any hatred or distain, far from it, I recognized him as one of the heavies that changed the game, but just cause so many of his opponents were beat before they even stepped in the ring out of fear alone.

The Holyfield bout was one that I thought Tyson would have trouble with because of Evander's warrior spirit and track record. I was right and although I was too ****** to bet on it, that was one of the most exiting fights I had the pleasure to watch.

Tyson/Holyfield and Tyson/Lewis meant absolutely nothing. Sure, Tyson picked up what was left of his career after Givens, King and 4 years off after the Washington “incident” but it was not the same Tyson
