I'm putting myself on record time and again putting forward the idea that the Wilder Joshua negotiation isn't negotiation. It's promo.
Casual fans don't get it rammed down their throat quite like anyone who regularly reads boxing forums.
It's a bunch of widely published headline grabbing to-and-fros. Both sides know the deal and they're building it beyond the basic viewership.
    That's what I believe anyway.

Why not? Who said that there is a need for a disproportionate trade off? Bellew does charitable work for Usyk? If Bellew wants legacy, if he wants to get a shot a HOF, he should sacrifice something for it. It can't be only Usyk who makes the sacrifice, he is the undisputed champion ffs, who EARNED this title by being in the tournament fighting the best. Again. The first tournament was Olympics. Did Bellew do anything close to that? His name got ballooned after fighting past his prime Haye.

This isn't a big money fight for Bellew, if all he wants is money - he should get on Fury's nerves and finally piss him off for a fight, that would be a big money fight. But then he should be upfront about - its all about money and financial future of his family (which has already been secured, btw, courtesy of David Haye), nothing wrong with that as long as you don't mislead your fans about it.
Boxing is a business at the end of the day. No one is asking Usyk to fight for a tenner and a bag of monster munch for the journey home but he’s going to be the b side here. Bellew isn’t going to take a fight where hed make significNtly less than his last.

It’s a win win for Usyk tbh. Not only does he make decent money against Bellew but also sets himself up for much bigger paydays down the line.

Yeah if that’s what he’s being offered than he should definitely take it. And like I said In the original post he’d be setting himself up for bigger paydays down the line too

The fight only makes sense at Cruiserweight, Bellew is a small heavyweight and could easily sap water to make 200 pounds

It benefits both guy sif it were at Cruiser

its worthless for Usyk to fight at heavy, its best for Bellews legacy as well to fight at Cruiser for all the marbles thats something that would be amazing to have on his resume undisputed

            Usyk..Bellew HUM..

I think it best he fight him at Heavy...

Look if you think it is easy fighting beast..It is not.

Roy Jones ...He was one of the best I have ever seen.

He was smart ...He saw a Heavyweight he could beat.

And he did! Usyk...is no PRIME Jones..Granted.

I did not see POWER. I saw unreal power in Jones.

Look...I think I would rathe see him clean out the Light heavyweights!

He can definitely DANCE* But one power Punch from any

            of these -Ortiz..White..Wilder..Joshua .SLEEPY TIME.

Bellew Or Parker best try at Heavy..

This is a perfect fight for Usyk before he gets into a ring with guys like Parker, Wilder and AJ. To test the water...

What would Usyk be sacrificing by taking on Bellew for a big payday? He gains because not only does he get a payday but he puts his name out there for a future Joshua fight. So Usyk doesn't have to sacrifice anything.

You don't just throw money away just because they're undisputed champ. You go by what you bring to the table, not what titles you have.

This is the logical fight for Usyk, illogical for Bellew he gets beaten up pretty badly and fairly easily.

AJ is fighting September so we’re looking at the month or so afterwards, makes me wonder is this fight bigger than the O2 London which I believe it is so you’re needing a bigger venue with a roof, I’m sure Wales and Wembley are too big what are we left with ?

You’ve got it all backwards friend, Usyk has cleared the deck at 200 Bellew is the perfect opponent to march through the door against and get the exposure and traction.

It benefits Bellew at 200 winning all those titles yet we know he isn’t winning regardless of whatever weight maybe it’s best for him at 200 he’d have a ready excuse why he got stopped on his feet.

It's surprising people have started talking Usyk up the HW division. He should be very careful. The HW is not like CW. One punch from any of the A-list HWs may send him to retirement
