You didn't watch that video I posted. Clearly the guy can ****...he just choose to box Saturday and did a brilliant job of it. He dosn't need a KO like Wider does to win anyways because he can box...he's multidimensional. Joshua and Wilder will avoid him until the day he becomes a mandatory.Comment

He would probably get koed in the process, but the movements, speed and skills would make them look like amateurs.Comment

Loving all the pockets of hate that Usyk is creating now...very much like what Loma has done. Sure sign of success.
The man clears out arguably the most stacked division in boxing yet some still doubt him.
Usyk is a legit 6'3" putting him right up there in the division outside of Wilder, Fury and AJ. He walks around 220lb, you can see on his pre-camp instagram post. I bet the same guys who say that he is too small are the one's saying any of the old timers that were 210lb in their prime would wipe all the post Lennox guys off the face of the earth.
He shown against Joe Joyce in WSB that 6'6" he can deal with and Joe is a big boy on top of that height. So height/size won't be an issue.
Now some knock his power....Sure he is an arm puncher but so what? Since when do you have to punch like Wlad, AJ and Wilder to be a HW Champ?
Usyk has the potential to absolutely gas these guys silly with his movement. When say AJ (not saying this will happen) is absolutely gasping for air, do you think it takes a Wlad right hand to put him down?
I didn't know that you needed A power to win boxing matches...
So ****** ****ing argument that...If you don't think he has enough power to keep them honest you don't know much about this game.
His punch resistance? I can almost guarantee his punch resistance is better than Wlad's, Wilder's and AJ's...
And how can you even bring up the chin argument? When has he ever been down and shown weakness? And even if he has, how many times we seen AJ and Wilder hurt? How many times have we seen Wlad on the floor?
Bottom line is that the man has the size to compete at HW and the best skill set north of 175. So why on earth are people doubting what he could do at HW?
And you lot call yourself boxing fans....Last edited by Banderivets; 07-23-2018, 04:51 PM.Comment

Most of his fights are competitive at CW so no .
Theres ZERO showings he outboxes and doesn't get hurt by some HW's let alone Joshua .Comment

Excellent boxer but he is nowhere near a power puncher in his OWN CW class certainly wont be at HW . !

at 6'3" hes only an inch shorter than Ortiz and same height as povetkin (if the boxrec stats are accurate). his skillset and speed will be more pronounced at HW as well as the guys in HW are slower. only issue will be if he can handle the HW power as well as the bigger HW leaning on him and pushing him around. Usyk is strong though, he rarely is man handled in the ring. would be interesting to see him go up.Comment

Very good point it’s a fascinating fight,,,I mean I think Usyk outboxes all of them, the question is has he got enough power to keep them off/honest and what happens when they land a bomb on him? (Especially late)
If he can overcome them points then the world’s really his oyster.Comment
