Usyk can't take AJs power but I think he'd outbox Wilder with relative ease.

Whyte and Parker are probably the second best heavies out there, Parker has good movement and at his best, pretty good stamina so it would be interesting, Whyte is slow and lumbering so Usyk probably outboxes him.

The question is, does Usyk have the balls to move up to heavyweight? The two most successful cruisers to do that, Holyfield and Haye, had various physical x factors. for Holyfield it was his tremendous punch resistance, for Haye it was his remarkable big man speed and power.

I'm not sure if Usyk has an x factor.

I don't agree but I do think he's a serious threat. If AJ/Wilder don't face each other in April give Usyk the shot if he wants it. I liked the style Usyk used when he fought bigger guys at amateur level, his performance vs Joyce was skillful, active but with hard shots in there as well so he should do well at HW.

His lack of power is a bigger issue for me than his size. He's not featherfisted but if he outboxes one of the bigger HWs for 6 rounds has he got enough to hurt them with counters once they start going for the KO?

Usyk is comfortably the best cruiserweight but HW is a totally different ball game. Let's see how he does against any heavyweight at all before proclaiming him king of 2 divisions.

Usyk gave up 25lbs here and gave a lesson in boxing.

Usyk is fast. Faster than Haye. He also has unbelievable stamina.

He has x factor, and probably y and z factor too.

            THIS

I can't think of any HW who has thrown over 900 punches in a round

(and don't throw out a name from back when HW started at 175 and fights had 15 rounds)

Joe Joyce is slow as molasses; a Wilder or Joshua is a totally different proposition.

                usyk is very, very, good....

but hes giving up about 4 inches in height to both of the top dogs...and 4-5 in reach

he would have to be extremely crafty to make that up.....obviously i think someone like usyk is more skilled than joe parker....but if someone like AJ is in safety mode it might be extremely difficult for usyk to find him....parker couldnt.......usyk obviously has a better chance at getting to wilder but wilder has very good stamina too and could play it safely most of the fight while waiting to land an equalizer

anyway...good win by usyk and he prob should consider moving up asap...thats where the money is at

He isn't close to being as fast as haye. Haye was explosively quick. Let's stay real.
