Why are fans supporting the flat fee BS? Why did folks feel like GGG was getting shafted by ODLH flat fee offer (GGG highest payday) and supported him and his team for saying no, but claim Wilder and his team are scared for saying no to the flat fee.

Wouldn't a 70-30 split cover the concerns from both sides?
"Why are fans supporting the flat fee BS? "

Because the real fans want to ACTUALLY see this fight thats why !

The Wilder protectors like yourself ( dont say your not ) would rather argue a justification to how unfair Wilder is treated and then cry about others talking about money which you yourself are doing .

The difference is they WANT Wilder to accept over 7 x his highest pay while YOU guys would rather the fight not happening bc you deem a flat fee witha 50% rematch claus to it in the U.S unfair of what WILL be 100 /plus Million dollar fight if Wilder wins !

Actions speak louder than words punk. Look at what people do, not what they say.

Wilder convinces you ******s that everybody is ducking him, but when a contract arrives to fight the first real world class, prime fighter in his career he loses his pen.

How do you defend that shyt?
And the only one that answered the call was Ortiz. Aj ducked Ortiz too....LMMFAO!

How the hell does a heavyweight duck 50million? LMMFAO!! I guess Aj lost that pen huh? Better yet he threw the pen to D.Wilder & said no you sign.

      • They need to make AJ look more of a duck than he already does.

Team AJ are looking for any escape route they can find.
They think they've found a good one with the financial split.
This will eventually blow up in their faces.

They may earn the money to protect their losses after wilder. However, this will impact on AJs legacy & he will soon lose credibility.
Thats the point of no return & when he loses he's in the scrap heap.
If he loses now his fans will continue to support him & appreciate him stepping up

If team AJ honestly feel its a fair deal they should acceot a counter offer
Wilder should accept only on the condition that AJ takes $15 mil flat fee to fight in the states. If AJ doesnt honour the rematch clause Wilder can sue him for $25mil + expenses

Bottom line a rematch AJ brings zero belts, if wilder is a b side with the wbc then AJ would be the c side in a rematch without a belt

        Fair deal?

Nobody can blame Hearn for his stance when wilder isn’t really negiotiating, does everything in public but refuses to actually meet up or even share what his “two minor issues” are?

15 million is a good offer, anyone who calls it a lowball has clear bias. Maybe it can be improved upon but it certainly isn’t lowball when an absolute worst case for wilder it’s treble his best ever previous best payday.

For Joshua he can take on the following over the next few years so it’s not like he is short of options:
          Pulev
          Whyte Or Parker
          Miller
          Ortiz
          Fury (Hughie)
          Fury (Tyson)

Then there is other new blood coming up like Joyce, etc.

If wilder won’t accept a sensible price Joshua “could” choose many other fights which would sell out easily in the UK. Wilder is not only far limited but he doesn’t even have the resume to back his own words up, he’s called out everyone but fought nobody. Joshua calls out nobody but fights everyone. I believe the actions rather than the words, Wilder needs to convince me otherwise
If Aj wants the fight that he asked 50million bucks for that was guaranteed he would of signed already.

So since that's how you "think" then what does lil g deserve for he fight he just got with Nelo?

Hearn has already gone on record to say that the date and venue can be added to the contract which will act as a pre-contractual representation which can be relied upon.

No one will remember or care what the fight was worth and what the fighters got paid if Wilder becomes undisputed. And once he's undisputed he can make crazy money. The endorsements alone would be enormous.
His bank account, his kids college fund and he himself will remember what he was screwed out of. No one asks non-black fighters to accept much less than they're worth, or jump weight-classes, but I guess that's just a coincidence.

There was also no guarantee of a win in the first fight given that a fight can be lost by way of bad refereeing and bad judging.

Essentially, the deck was stacked against Wilder to make that guesstimated $40M and he would be assuming ALL all the risk to make it.

Aren't people in the UK getting tired of Hearn basically providing them with the talking points to argue that Wilder doesn't want this fight. At what point will he say 30% is the offer. If the fight makes 50M in purses, you'll get your 15M like the original offer, if it makes 45M you'll get less. If it makes 75M you get 22M.
I would rather deal with facts to be honest, forget what Hearn says, just looking at thing directly. Wilder is NOT going to get a rematch if he loses, why? because he isn't the A-side.

I dont think Wilder doesn't "Want" this fight, i think both camps are hyping this fight, thats the only theory i can come up with from Wilder's point of view.

I have zero issues with refs for a this sort of fight because i know this fight isn't going to the score card. And bad refs can happen in any country. People just have to bring it up as an excuse whenever they want.

Instead of focusing about the money, why don't you talk to others about taking this fight for no money! For legacy, for all the belts, for the right to be called the man...

Again my advice to Wilder is simple, forget the money, take even less and destroy Joshua like i predict he would. They would come crawling begging for a rematch, not only that your stock rises tenfolds.

Am wait for ONE single poster that would actually suggest that....Just ONE, not the "Oh he is being offered a flat fee" bandwagon.
