The quickest way to the fight will be to sign the contract which he already has. It might be a bad deal, but there's not reason he can't just sign it anyway. Hearn has already gone on record to say that the date and venue can be added to the contract which will act as a pre-contractual representation which can be relied upon.

No one will remember or care what the fight was worth and what the fighters got paid if Wilder becomes undisputed. And once he's undisputed he can make crazy money. The endorsements alone would be enormous.

Despite all the bravado Wilder knows he loses the fight so he won't sign. He knows this does not go to a rematch so he needs to squeeze every last penny out of the deal. It is a losers mentality.

... man, Wilder already had the opportunity to become "undisputed" by fighting Wlad (when he was about AJ's age)... But Wilder just "wasn't ready"... now, come-on...

Hearn can keep filling stadiums with Joshua for years.

How much would he wan't to pay someone who could potentially ruin that ?

Got a feeling Wilder would have to pay Hearn for him to accept the fight.

Won't the IBF call the mandatory at the end of this year? Pulev.H.Fury winner? surely by April they will call that fight? I can't see Pulev and H.Fury fighting this year in an aliminator then the IBF waiting until after April to call it.

Wilder should go ahead and take the $15 million offer. Is it fair, no but he should realize that he won't receive a fair offer. What Wilder should demand is that if he wins then he gets the larger split in the rematch. My feeling though is that should Wilder accept Eddie's terms, Eddie will quickly find a way to not have the fight. I'm absolutely convinced of that.

Hearn is counting on that not happening. But even if Wilder signed, trust me, hearn has a contingency plan to nix it.

I dont know why anyone else can't see this. They are all still stuff at "Flat fee", they are even celebrating Wilder NOT accepting the fight over money SMH.

That is the thing with Joshua, he has too many options. Most would rather fight him and get well paid to be KO'ed but at least they get to fight in front of 60,000 plus people and they would get well paid for it.

Literally the only way Hearn lets this fight happen is if Wilder accepts a half-eaten lukewarm cheeseburger as his purse or if he sells his soul to Matchroom first. It's obvious that in the last two years or so Hearn's ego has bloated into something absolutely monstrous, he has to has absolute control over everything or else he won't work with anybody.
