Yeah, that's what Wilder did. He's fought only Ortiz and Stiverne in 40 fights. It's pathetic isn't it? Joshua is showing him how it's done by cleaning out the division and fighting all the best guys in only 21 fights while Wilder fights complete bums. Shows you who the true champ is. You're judged by your deeds and not your words. And words is all Wilder has.Originally posted by champion4everThis is what cowards are supposed to do. See when your champ beats an over the hill former champ that was well past his prime 4 years ago who in addition lost to a doughnut eating tub of lard fat a$$ then ya your country is stoked and thinks the champ is a god.
Throw in a salivating UK press that made the Klitschko/AJ saga a love story portraying them as always having been soul mates to juice it up then you have the double entendres. Even Harlequin Romance Novels would be jealous.
The fans in the UK place a lot of stock in a champ that can beat an aged fighter. They call it “legacy” we here call it a “what did you expect?” They seem to think he placed it all on the line, that he beat the great Goliath of the division. Again I say he got beat by a jelly roll loud mouth that threw less than 100 punches in the entirety of a 12 round fight.
Yawn, so over the dramaComment

They don't care about putting the Povetkin fight on in September because all the money would be made in the UK so a clash doesn't have any effect. Wilder on the other hand is American so some money would be made in the states so a clash isn't something you want to happen.
Pretty simple really.Comment
