Youtube highlights will be just as good as watching the fight because Lucas did nothing noteworthy.

That's not giving Matthysse a pass,he was piss poor. Something just not sitting right about this fight, Matthysse went down waaaay too easy, and PAC looked to have a lot more muscle on him than normal, with it being in asia, the fights that can be made if PAC won something just doesn't fit right.

Let's say I'm completely wrong though...
Where will PAC go from here? I really think he needs to retire, no way can he keep up with the champions of today, I mean Crawford would make a fool out of him at this stage, their was whispers of him going down for loma, come on!!

This fight did not prove much in contrast of today's champions. PAC gets no where near Spence/Crawford,they will embarrass him and would be a sad way to go.
If PAC stays on,it will be like Ali continuing with Larry Holm's
C'mon now, it's not fair to rain on Manny's parade. He went in there and took care of business. Also, Manny holding a major welterweight title again is good for boxing. It opens up a lot of potential and exciting match ups for him. Besides, there is no proof that he juiced for this fight anyhow. That's just more unproven allegations.

Last time Pacquiao fought someone his size, ***** was starting his first term as president. Matthysse is naturally 15 to 25 pounds smaller than Jeff Horn. THAT is the reason Horn took Pacquiao's shots but Matthysse couldn't. That and Matthysse's perpetually injured right eye that also cost Matthysse the DSG and Postol fights. That's the reason Matthysse quit in the end.

          Thurman, no

I think Pac slices Danny up.

Dela Hoya already thought Lucas would end up losing to Pac. And he's right. Let's see if he can convince whining Marquez to face Pac for the 5th time.

No previous version of Matthysse could defeat Pacquiao, but tonight's version was obviously damaged goods. He fought scared and didn't react well to punches landed around his eye, which is a tell tale sign he hasn't mentally recovered from the Postol injury.

Regardless, Pacquiao's still a world class fighter. He can still compete against the likes of Khan, Thurman, Porter-Garcia winner, and possibly Lomachenko (the size/strength difference is real).

In the pick em fight i had pacquaio with late KO so i always thought he would have to much for him.....a 70% pacquaio beats a 100% mattysee every day of the week and sundays...2 leagues above and pacquaio will still beat 8 out the top 10 welterweights in that division...spence and crawford are a different story though.
Now watch eddie hearn make a play for pacquaio to face amir khan at wembley stadium for mega bucks and huge ppv numbers.
Things are starting to turn interesting now

I believe Khan is the mandatory, it has nothing to do with me. Talk to the WBA.

Skill and athleticism-wise, Pacquiao is better than all of them even at 39 years old. If Crawford was the same size as Pacquiao with the same reach, Pacquiao would beat him too. It's just size. Has Pacquiao declined? Yes, but he's still more talented than guys like Spence, Thurman, and Crawford, and the only one of those three whose speed has surpassed Pacquiao's due to Pacquiao's age is Crawford. In a P4P sense, if Pacquiao fought at 140 or 135, he is still better than those guys. If Pacquiao's team were smart he would enter the WBSS at 140 because he would beat all those guys and become unified champ at 39 years old which would solidify his legacy. But that's the point, even though he will chase bigger fights and not do that, he still has the talent to do that vs guys HIS SIZE. He has been fighting bigger men at 147 for a decade and as good as he's looked, that has actually made him look worse than he really is. So as good as he's looked, he's actually even better than that. Think about that.
You think PAC has a chance against loma??
I don't think he could make that weight now, but even if loma moved up in weight he would dance rings around PAC at this stage
