WTF, the contract is bullshyt Wilder already accepted the flat fee. It stated that AJ has a rematch clause if he loses, but Wilder gets no rematch if he loses.

Why does Wilder need a rematch clause if you are so convinced he will win? I tend to favor Wilder in this fight but if all of that confidence if real, just take the 15 million, win the fight and then make a monstrous amount in the rematch.

Canelo is 27 years old, has already fought Mosley, Floyd, Trout (when they said he wouldnt), Lara (when they said he wouldnt) Kirkland (when they said he wa a beast...lmao), Cotto, and GGG. He’s also Mexican which helps seeing as that’s a massive market. Name a current 27 year old who’s earned the right for the fans to want to watch more than canelo right now.

Joshua is a gold medalist who won the hw championship within 4 years of doing it while at the time maintaining a 100% KO ratio and becoming one of the fastst men to win a hw title...AND he’s fighting in his country which is historically a great boxing culture? Then goes on to fight a legendary (old, but that doesnt matter) HW in Wlad who is a massive european draw and proceeds to have an amazing/classic fight with the man and continues to do well.

Tyson earned it. Oscar earned it. Floyd earned it. Pacquiao earned it. Canelo earned it and now Joshua has.

It’s no accident. Stop hating. Every single top earner has a history of having better opponents than their current contemporaries. If Deontay woulda been the gold bomber and KOd Wlad and some of the top contenders within a few years of becoming a pro maybe you’d be singing a different song.

At the end of the day he should of just signed the contract he had.
Doesn't matter if you like or hate either guys. Wilder doesn't fight on ppv so isn't in a position to demand anywhere near a 50-50.
If he was as confident as he claims then fight him. Pick up the £15m and then beat him again.
The problem is Wilder has done nothing to enhance his reputation. He has never fought another champion nor even wanted to. AJ fought and beat three of them in the space of 18 months.
Wilder should have taken on some better fighters and made himself a star. He could of then commanded a far bigger fee.
The truth is he is lucky to be getting anywhere near that amount. Everyone was getting peanuts and no chance of a rematch in the Klitchsko era.
To demand 50-50 you have to bring in a lot of the money the fight would make. Wilder won't bring much at all.
He now knows the date and venue. Sign the contract and if you win you can do it again.
I think Wilder knows chances are he loses. The bookies have AJ as the big favourite. He wants that pay day so he can walk off into the sunset. He isn't interested in legacy or wanting to be a star. If he was he would take the chances given to him. But he would rather fight nobodies or fighters way over the hill.

yeah, he fought to a "draw". That fight was a draw like Chavez vs Whitaker was a draw or like holyfield vs Lewis was a draw. You're easily impressed by Canelo I see. Ggg stayed at mw the same way Hagler stayed at mw and had to wait for the big names to grow the balls to fight him. Martinez didn't want smoke, neither did cotto, neither did jacobs for a while, neither did Canelo for almost 2 yrs, neither did saunders, neither did quillin.
