hes the B side. he doesnt dictate anything and he knows it. its the anthony joshua show and hes earnt it by taking the risks that wilder never took and moving his career on quickly. no other fighter has had problems with negotiating with hearn, only wilder.

I’m so tired of this crap but one thing is for certain. Joshua & Hearn are totally disregarding Povetkin as a threat trying to get Wilder to sign prior to this fight. Let’s not forget Povetkin went on an absolute tear after he lost to a younger & better version of Klitschko. Sure PEDS may have been a factor but he beat some tough competition. Sasha is older & clean now but he is stick a great boxer & legit threat. They saw David Price wobble him so they are ultra confident AJ will crush him. I’m not so sure about that. I would laugh if Povetkin won & I am actually cheering for him to do it. So what happens if Wilder signs the contract & AJ loses all his belts beforehand? I would hope any contract signed would have an out clause if AJ should lose...

There are some naive, nationalistic dumbass fans in this thread.

Wilder asks for 50/50 which he'll never get, yet it's Joshua who's trying to kill the fight?

          And we have this gem:
"But I can tell you what happened in the past, just look at the last two fights of Joshua and the last two of Deontay and it is obvious who looked better.
Really? Joshua knocked out Takam and boxed to an easy, near shutout decision against Parker. Wilder knocked out an overweight Stiverne who hasn't boxed in 2 years, and barely survived against Ortiz, almost getting KTFO in the 7th round.

Yet somehow it's clear to Finkle that Wilder looked better? I don't play sides between these 2, but Wilder and his team consistently look like imbeciles. Hearn looks a little too smooth often, but that's better than looking like a complete idiots.

Come on Deontay man up for once this is your one shot at redemption.

The two sides were unable to reach an agreement for a unification date in the fall - and now Joshua will make a mandatory defense against the WBA's top challenger, Alexander Povetin.

Lol, so we are now back to wanting the April fight? I swear these two are playing everyone. First it was the offer is still on the table by Hearn, then it was we are not signing for April, 50-50, then Wilder should get less in accordance to Hearn, now it’s this... Just sign the contract if you want the April fight. That way you can even do a Wlad/WBSSS and get in the ring if AJ beats Povetkin.

Totally agree, I personally wouldn’t want to sign a contract like that. Povetkin would be super motivational by it. It is disrespectful.

                      bollocks !

EVERY other fighter has had problems negotiating with Hearn lol

the Parker fight took MONTHS..... and Team Parker leveled the EXACT SAME accusations at Team Joshua that Finkle just did

you tards who have chosen to blame Wilder, when the holdup is OBVIOUSLY with Joshua..... are bottom-of-the-barrel casuals
