Charlo is literally unknown outside of the USA, at least Saunders holds a major belt and a guy like Murata is doing his own thing creating monster ratings in Asia. Charlo on the other hand.. smoke weed, talk shi.. on social media and sit on his arse. Wow so hyped.
Charlo has buzz. GGG vs Charlo would sell out MSG easy. I think GGG wants the most lucrative fights right now and that makes sense to me at this stage in his career.

This shouldn't be a surprise. Saunders is undefeated, a title holder and would move the needle for fans in the UK, Murata would be a big pay day in Japan and looks fairly pedestrian, Charlo can crack but has no belts and doesn't put asses in seats like the other two. I think Saunders might present the biggest threat, next to Charlo, to GGG. I think Murata would be fairly easy work comparatively. Charlo is the biggest threat to kayo GGG or hurt him. I don't think one can knock GGG for wanting Saunders. That's just me.

He'd probably prefer a rematch with Vanes even more.
Because of styles Saunders is very dangerous in winning a decision. Saunders has the style to give GGG fits .

I would consider canelo a boxer. He played the role of the puncher/bully VS much smaller guys & sacrifical lambs like Khan, Kirkland, but most of his high-profile fights have ended in relatively slow paced decisions.

may be true. just saying if nelo had to pick a style, it would be him as the aggressor. 3g was right there for the taking. he will get it done this time.

                  - Canelo
                  - Billy Joe Saunders to capture WBO strap
                  - Winner of Jacobs/Derevyanchenko to recapture IBF title
                  - Once he unifies 160 move up and challenge for a title at 168.
                  This^^^^right here.

Beating one cripple and one nohoper does nothing for his profile.
                    Fights nobody? Says who? You?

                    Let’s see
LMW IBF WORLD TITLE in first attempt by 3rd round KO of Bundrage (34-5).

First defense against Wilky Campfort who was 21-1 whose loss was in his 2nd pro fight by 4 round decision.

Next def née was against Austin Trout (yes Austin Trout you know that no name you harp on about that he hasn’t fought).

Next defense Julian Williams by KO who was 21-0

He then move to MW and for his first fight is WBC #1 ranked Jorge Heiland (28-4) AS A MANDATORY with the winner becoming mandatory to winner of Canelo/GGG. He KOd the guy

Next fight for interim WBC Title against 26-1 Hugo Centeno. Another KO.

That’s a lot of nobody’s you e classified there. GTFO with that nobody trash

Argh. Golovkin should have faced Saunders when he had the IBF belt and time to spare, even before Canelo's suspension.

But, it's not entirely his fault. His greatest mistake was to cling obsessively to Canelo to his detriment, whereas I believe he doesn't-or shouldn't need Canelo to be his only big payday, and cement his legacy.

The MW division has been stacked with contenders, up and comers, titlist's, for a while now and GGG ought to have faced Saunders in the last two years in which he's had barely three fights.

Saunders will be a terrible style match-up so it's not a fight that presents value UNLESS it is for all the marbles and the IBF's strange unduly haste stripping of unified champions will continue to dash those hopes whilst also presenting opportunities like Sergey D v Jacobs.

If I were in charge of Golovkins team, I would realise that the undisputed campaign is all but gone, with him approaching 40 but still in good shape, I don't see why the many fighters awaiting their chance at GGG can't be signed.
If he can't see that he is a marquee name, if he thinks he needs another marquee name to do well, then he's selling himself short or doesn't realise how extensive his fan base is.

Charlo, Dereyavchenko, Andrade would get fans more excited because we really haven't seen a 'super-fight', a FOTY candidate which should be forthcoming given G's style.

Lastly, Forget Canelo, go out giving the fans your 'big drama show', go back to what made you appealing in the first place, not this current incarnation who is a boxer, ex-body punching, politicking grump. C'mon!
