just like there were 4 questions that needed to be answered about the 50 mill offer and they were answered.

I never see him say that anywhere. Thought it was Oct/Nov as Joshua would need the extra preparation time for a Wilder fight, understandable as Wilder's a better fighter, actually a compliment.

LMAO so he should sign a contract with no date and be locked into a flat fee, no showtime, only a rematch if aj loses in which wilder still wouldn't be an A side, they pick the refs and the judges for a future bout???? if he signed it, hearn would have made it for april 2019 either way it went. why are you all acting like this is fair? if wilder agreed to these terms and then got the contract and said NO... then id agree with you all. but wilder wanted the fight to be NEXT, and hearn never intended on it being next, as hes stated openly since last year. if aj lost to pedvtkin wilder would be locked into a future (04/2019) contract with aj with a flat fee. that's flat out ******. if hearn gave a date for sept or October/nov then id agree with you all saying "SIGN THE CONTRACT"

its funny the same people who said AJ should not accept 50 mil because there was no date nor venue even though hearn got his 4 questions answered concerning the money... now are saying wilder should sign a contract with no date or venue.

this isn't the exact one there is another but this is close/

the article was posted right here on boxing scene, ill look for it sir. those were hearns words

We see this as a Wembley fight and we’re quite limited in that respect,” Hearn told Sky Sports on Tuesday. “Obviously, American TV and pay-per-view has to be considered. We’ve got to speak to them about what date suits them. There is a lot still to work out.

“I think Wembley is where Anthony Joshua wants it to take place. Obviously a brilliant night against Wladimir Klitschko. It seems a natural home.”

Hearn, who’s Joshua’s promoter, initially thought Joshua-Wilder could take place sometime in September, if it were to happen next.

Now that Canelo Alvarez is committed to fighting September 15, perhaps in a middleweight championship rematch against Gennady Golovkin, Hearn considers undetermined dates in October or November more likely for a Joshua-Wilder clash.

Joshua’s past two fights have taken place at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

The 6-feet-6, 250-pound Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs) stopped Cameroon’s Carlos Takam in the 10th round there October 28. Joshua returned to Principality Stadium on March 31, when he out-boxed New Zealand’s Joseph Parker to win a unanimous decision in their heavyweight title unification fight.

“Our original plan and hope was to do it in the middle of September,” Hearn said. “But obviously this Canelo fight on September 15 makes it a little more difficult with U.S. TV. And the fact that we’ve lost four weeks in waiting for an answer from Deontay Wilder makes the fight happening in 11 or 12 weeks of this magnitude unlikely. If it is before Povetkin, then it runs on October or November.”

He didn't need extra time to prepare for Wilder. They didn't want AJ vs Wilder in Sept because it would be PPV in the States and it would have clashed with GGG vs Canelo.

AJ trains 10 to 12 weeks for his fights. There would have been enough time for him to get a 12 week camp in before Sept 22nd.

It would have been before Povetkin, or the WBA wouldn't have given Hearn over a months extension before ordering their mando to try and get it made!

the wba is in hearns back pocket the 24 hour deadline was a farce. I have further proof he has connections with them as well

hearn said a unification trumps a mando as well, the bottom line is hearn never wanted this fight next and you all are scrambling to help cover up his contradictions. Aj would have taken the 50mil that you all say was fake, had hearn not been in the picture. Its sad that boxing fans now have become promoter fans and support the best fights not being made for business reasons.

A unification does trump a mando, that's why the WBA gave Hearn an extension on the negotions with Povetkin, so that the unification could happen first.

It's nonsense to say they are in Hearn's back pocket. But even if they were part of Matchroom, how could they justify delaying a mando this year so that AJ could get a contract for a unification fight next year?

It looks to me like Wilder fans are scraping the bottom of the barrel to try and find a reason to blame AJ for the fight not happening next, tbh.
