    In Case You Missed It

The further away we get, the clearer it is that Hearn and AJ didnt want that smoke.

They gave 24 hours to clarify the fight would be next, not finalized. Its impossible to finalize a fight in 24 hours. I expect a press conference next week. WBN set Wilder fans into drama mode when there is none.

Wilder never agreed to the fight, that would of been enough to keep off the WBA whilst it was finalized. Instead there was 2 small points that stopped it.

yeah one of them being the date...lol.....that's kind of important

since, ya know, hearn couldn't guarantee it was next.....if hearn had made it clear it was next it would have been signed in a heartbeat and you know that...I guess that's what drives you mad....

How would Dumbontay know whether AJ/Povetkin had been finalised?

What difference does the date make if you want a fight. Oct/Nov was enough so he could go book a stadium, dont think you can book a stadium in one phonecall. Then would have gave the exact date. What possible advantage is there to gain, its not like 78,000 tickets are gunna go on sale a week before the fight.

                  Exactly.

Hearn couldn't say Wilder was next because Finkel planned on sending back an unsigned contract 11 days after recieving it.

No such problems with Povetkin as he is mandatory.

That is the dumbest excuse for somebody not signing a fight contract I've ever heard!

Hearn obviously must have guaranteed that it would be next ... otherwise the WBA would never have delayed ordering him to finalise their mando for over a month.
