So why couldn't Wilder been in Wembly on the 22nd? I mean according to Hearn and the rest Povetkin is just a tough a fight as Wilder, wouldn't they need that same extended training camp that they needed for Wilder for Povetkin then?

Because he would not be able to maximise US TV money with it being so close to GGG/Canelo.

And Wilder was not guaranteed to sign any time soon. By the sounds of it, Povetkin signed and they are announcing next week.

Everybody is going to want to fight in front of 100k people and the chance to become heavyweight champion of the world and they will not be arguing too much over money or terms.

Millions of fights get made before the actual contract is signed. That contract shyt is just all smoke. Hopefully it is Wilder but I’m not getting my hopes up. Wouldn’t be surprised if Hearn found another way out of the fight.
