Wait a sec they rather put live fights on Facebook rather than YouTube? Somebody dropped the ball here.

PBC actually did something similar to this with Twitter and facebook early on.

Why? FB already has billions of content makers for free and this deal isn't bringing any new users.

Also, notice that the two Promoters invloved have an extremely shallow pool of talent and probably aren't getting any type of site fees for the vast majority of their fighters. Meaning this is their best method of broadcast. I mean, I guess this keeps people from Tweeting during the fight, but Idk any other real advantages for FB. Who knows, maybe they are trying to stick their feet in the live television market

Surprised no one made a deal with YouTube. Showtime does it sometimes, but you never know what fights it will be.

OK this is better news than ****ing Chuck Liddel and Tito Ortiz Washed MMA Fighters

Boxing on Facebook is a decent move, no I don't think boxing will ever be big on social media platforms but I liked when Showtime used it to show some undercard fights. Will check it out

"This revolutionary deal will give fans great matchups at no cost, thus powering the sport for growth across new and existing demographics." Interesting, if we get good fights. This could be a good move on ODLH's part, to out-maneuver that thieving fossil Arum.
