I don't think wilder deserves 40% because he's had 40 fights or so and only 2 opponents of any note.
Previous opponents have nothing to do with the money split. Look at this from a commercial view. The winner will be the undisputed champion and if it is Joshua, he opens the US market, making a lot more money in future fights

This old dude has lost his marbles smdh. It should be 80-20 on favor of aj and that’s being generous since wilder is irrelevant bum lol

They might as well forget about this fight happening because it's not gonna happen lol I don't think Hearn wants it that's their decision and also I believe either Wilder or AJ will lose to an unlikely opponent which will derail it or make it less enticing!!

How could anyone trash the credibility of Lennox Lewis; A Hall of Famer, an all-time great? Not to mention one of the greatest heavyweight champions of his generation.

One would think his voice should carry some weight. He is an expert because he actually fought and risked his life in the ring.

Btw, both guys went on to make millions and millions more than the flat fee offer once the fights happened.

Lennox is dead right on all counts. The thing with flat fee is, it kinda hides the ratio of the total pot. No one apart from the promoters really knows if that’s 25% or 40%. I think it’s probably closer to the former which is less than they gave Parker. So they are low balling but it’s still a reasonable and big offer. Parker negotiated up from 30% to what 35%. So why can’t Wilder and they’re team? Instead they mess about, cancel meetings, go quiet, and go on social media.

Wilder now saying 50-50 only now I changed my mind. It doesn’t take much to see why big fight negotiations get drawn out. A few games by both sides, putting off a better offer or being more willing to seriously compromise until ‘next year’. Then it comes around and the other party has changed position and it’s a giant mess of excuses and barriers to gaining good will to compromise to a deal.

Jealous? Each person that comes out against AG publicly it’s hilarious at how fast the AJ slurpers come to his defense as if they’ve crucified Christ himself lol. Here’s a clue, as I’ve said before AJ couldn’t hold the fumunda cheese withing Lennox’s cup protector

Lewis wasn't the type to try and squeeze every last penny out of an opponent it's why he offered Bowe 42% when he was WBC champion and Bowe had no belts, while Bowe offered him far less when they both had belts.

But fact is Wilder technically already agreed to less and accepted a $15 mill flat fee, but balked at the April 2019 date. So Hearn now knows his price, so why would he offer more? Sure Wilder is asking for 50/50 now but he was asking for 50/50 or no deal before too, so Hearn knows it's just posturing.
