Golovkin got frozen out, Crawford will get frozen out. This **** happens.

The big paycheck won't be there anymore.

The fact is that AJ's fanbase relies massively on the casual audience. About 95% of his fights attendees don't really follow boxing, hence why he can sell out stadiums v Takam, they don't care who the opponent is, it's just a popular event. once he loses, the fickle fanbase will disappear and it'll be back to fighting at the o2 Arena.

That's why Hearn hasn't been keen on the Wilder fight. He'd rather sell out a few more stadiums v lesser opposition and milk AJ.

They wouldn't even be fighting Povetkin if it wasn't mandatory, it'd be someone like Miller or a Whyte rematch.

why do so many new fans give a **** about purses and money?

I want to see the guys fight in the ring for the title of the world, not fight on social media for the bigger percentage of the purse.

I'd be LMAO if Deontay would still want a big paycheck with Joshua,
              and not with Povetkin.
AJ would surely want a rematch with Alexander.
What would happen with Wilder then?
It would take at least a year to see AJ makes a comeback victory with Pov, if ever.
Where will Deontay even make $3 mil with?
              ... If Povetkin wins...

... well, Povetkin is likely to have three options:
              1) a huge money rematch at the Wembley, in April...
              2) a Ryabinsky-type fight in Moscow (vs Joshua or vs Wilder)...
              3) a unification fight vs Wilder, in Las Vegas (for that $50 million purse we are already aware of)...

Doe, they sent Deontay the contract to sign.
He just let it rot for almost a month.
He could have brought up the issues he's not happy with within 2 days.
The guy is a huge undeserving diva.

... tbh, true boxing fans don't give any shit about the fighters' purses and money, but they try to imagine how those fighters would react given the circumstances... i.e. they all know that fighters are money-driven, right?...

Golovkin 2008-16 would have loved for someone to have even sent him a contract. Same with 2022 Crawford.
