If David Price can score a KD vs Povetkin after being down, I think AJ knocks him out.

Please stop. This is an easy KO win for AJ. It is disingenuous to claim this is a 50/50 fight.

Povetkin may be a 39 year old 2 time PED cheat, but he is clearly bettter than the 39-going-on-45 year old 2 time PED cheat Ortiz, who he replaced as AJ's WBA mando after Ortiz ducked Joshua to fight Wilder instead.

Povetkin has fought most of the top HW's in the world over the past 5 years, including a prime - or very close to prime - Wlad Klitschko, and nobody has ever KO'd him before, so I don't know what you base that opinion on.

This fight is maybe 60/40 AJ, but Povetkin is probably the hardest puncher in the HW division, with stamina, chin, heart, and a high ring IQ. He is a dangerous proposition for anybody.

I'll watch both guys fight who ever they're fighting, they're both at the right end of the rankings these days.
I have no say in how they choose to earn their prize money.
I second that, I for one don’t care who they fight because I will be watching anyway.

But I guess some people just love conflict and drama, sitting in front of a keyboard bad mouthing men who actually fight for a living.

I guess it makes them feel powerful

Povetkin is old and since he's off the juice and meldonium he's just not the same . Great all around skills, better then anyone Wilder has fought, or AJ outside of wlad for that matter .

Outside of Wilder I don't see a much better fight for AJ out there.

It's obvious now AJ ducked Wilder, thinking that his fans will flock to watch him irrespective who he fights and make tons of money. The fans have the power don't go to the Povetkin fight don't buy pay per view and the message will be clear, fight Wilder next or face the fans fury at your peril. As soon as the fans stay away the sooner he'll get the message.

AJ should destroy this dude without problem. This isn't a 60/40 fight. LMFAO! If it was, then AJ would be better off fighting Wilder.

This is the same guy that had to cheat twice before fighting Wilder. It's sad that AJ is fighting him instead of Wilder.

The klit/Povetkin fight was one of the worst HWT title fights in history. Holding, fouling and Povetkin landed like 20% of his punches.

That was 5 years ago. Now Povetkin is 38 and will likely be 25lbs lighter than AJ on fight night.

Pretty much agree and if there's a good referee that allows inside fighting, AJ might be in big trouble.
