This is the same guy that had to cheat twice before fighting Wilder. It's sad that AJ is fighting him instead of Wilder.

The klit/Povetkin fight was one of the worst HWT title fights in history. Holding, fouling and Povetkin landed like 20% of his punches.

That was 5 years ago. Now Povetkin is 38 and will likely be 25lbs lighter than AJ on fight night.
AJ would definitely be better off fighting Wilder, but Wilder didn't want it.

Povetkin failed one PED test while training for Wilder, not two. His other test failure was for an eliminator vs Stiverne.

He was actually cleared by the WBC after an investigation into the Wilder fight failure, due to "insufficient evidence" of his guilt.

Luis Ortiz also failed a PED test while training for Wilder - his second test failure - and he was also cleared by the WBC after an inquiry, for the same reason they cleared Povetkin.

Wilder then said that, to prove a point, he would give Ortiz another chance, and rescheduled their fight.

He didn't do that with Povetkin. And everybody knows why that was, though some would rather have their teeth pulled without anesthetic than admit it.

Aj " pay me 50million and ill sign that second " wilders handlers " heres 50 million lets do this " . Aj " well i really want the fight in the u.k and i dont care if i make less ... lol how can you guys believe this is wilders fault ? Aj b.s his fans big time and its to bad that they are trying to age wilder out , they are gettimg close he will be 33 next april . Thanks a lot hearn & Aj bunch of ******* .

Oh and yeah a tricky southpaw is much harder to fight than a washedup pedvitkin , i would go so far as to say ortiz stops sasha in or arounf rd 6-8 . Ortiz is taller longer and heavier and can box better than sasha so how does sasha win that fight ?

This fight is maybe 60/40 AJ, but Povetkin is probably the hardest puncher in the HW division, with stamina, chin, heart, and a high ring IQ. He is a dangerous proposition for anybody.
Sasha the hardest puncher at hw ? What the hell are you on bro ? Thats the dumbest thing i read all week both aj & wilder hit harder than sasha . You are coming off as ******ed and a wilder hater , how did you feel when wilder stopped ortiz in the 10 th were you mad ? Upset ? Like dude that was an awesome fight and all you do is say really wacked out & dumb **** , so whats your deal bro ?

If you recall I picked Povetkin to beat Wilder and didn't understand why he needed to cheat. I think Ortiz was easier for Wilder than Povetkin as well.

Hearn sent over a contract without a date or a venue. Now you are entitled to believe what you wish, but I think you know that isn't kosher. and isn't a sign of truly wanting the fight.

I haven't heard of any instance where Hearn has sent a contract without a date and venue, have you?

We also know Hearn's preference is to maximize the number of fans by doing the fight in Wembley, which can't be done in the last quarter of the year due to the weather. Hearn hasn't changed his position on where he wants the fight so that is another clear signal as to why he had no real plan to have the fight next,

The bottom line is AJ has the right to make whatever choice he wants. Now that he has made his choice, hold him accountable. Don't make it Wilder's fault because he didn't sign a contract without a date or venue.
