Tyson was the reason they didn't fight til '02. He avoided the fight until he had no other options, because he knew he was gonna get a beatdown.
After the ear bite, Tyson fought bums which were hand picked until the Lewis fight, in order to keep the money coming in. Julius Francis? Savarese? Nielsen? Norris? The list goes on.
Lewis wanted to fight him as soon as Tyson got out of prison in '96, but King chose Holyfield instead because they thought he was shot.
Tyson even said he would have preferred more warm up fights after the Lewis fight. He'd been having warm up fights since his ban ended in '99.

The problem with that is hes USING M.Tyson as though HE made that fight when he wanted .

It took him 6 years to actually make that fight and hes blaming the guy who sent the AGREED contract ? lol


The Bowe fight didnt happen bc of Rock Newman .
