lol Lewis STOPPED Klitschko, what the fk is wrong with you guys
being " stopped "..... means that a fighter could not continue, for any of the reasons mentioned above..... tko, referee stoppage, corner stoppage, or quitting..... ALL of those scenario's are directly attributed to the winning fighter, for obvious reasons
that is not even debatable
why quibble ?
I tell you what, lets try it a different way.....
Lewis smashed Vitali's face in until the ringside physician deemed that he was unable to continue
..... did that description sit any easier with you ?
Vitali needed 60 stitches in his face..... should the limit be 80-90? -
Lol that doesn't help your argument at all. We are not discussing what is a K.O. or a T.K.O, we are discussing your incorrect usage of the saying one boxer stopped another. Maybe thats why you're using the term wrong, because you don't think theres a difference. Explains enough for me.What is considered a KO in boxing?.....
"A bout ends in a knockout when a boxer is knocked down and cannot get up by the count of 10. A fight can be stopped by a technical knockout (TKO) when a boxer is deemed by the referee (and sometimes the ringside physician) to be unable to defend himself properly, when a boxer is deemed to have sustained a serious injury, or when a boxer or his seconds decide he should not continue....."

Why did he need a rematch?
Vitali had some success for a few rounds, Lewis adjusted and caved his face in and Vitali had to be stopped. Do you think Vitali's eye did that to itself? was it accidental? no. Lewis did it to him.
He stopped Vitali fair and square.Leave a comment:

My dad always told me that if you have to say, "If you think"...then that means that I must've thought that I was smarter than him lol... That's why I never said that.Leave a comment:

Watch how Lewis stumbles to his corner in the 6th, almost falls off his stool. If you think he would have lasted 2 more rounds, your not as informed as you think.Vitali gave a very good account of himself. But Lennox sliced the man to ribbons and it was only going to get worse because Lennox was sitting on his punches more and more. If you have never seen a guy blinded from boxing then you know why the fight was stopped. Lennox stopped the man only the made the call. Why did he make that call?Leave a comment:

yea, Vitali was a beast, seriously
the thing is, he fought the correct fight against the pugilist specialist
attempting to outbox Lewis, therefore playing to his strengths, would have been foolish..... a more aggressive approach worked well for him in the early stages
problem is, that approach was dangerous
not the first time I have seen that happen
a stoppage by the doctor/corner is as legit as you can get under queensbury rulesLeave a comment:

Lewis was a veteran pro, who knew how to win
those cuts were going to get MUCH worse in the next 1-2 roundsLeave a comment:
